Language points
1. It is made of metal. 它是由金属制成的。
be made of 意为“由……制成”,从制成品中可以看出原材料;
如果从制成品中看不出原材料，则用 be made from。
e.g. The table is made of wood.
这张桌子是由木头制成的。
e.g. My shirt is made from cotton.
我的衬衫是由棉花做成的。
2. It is used for locking the door. 它是用来锁门的。
be used for doing sth, 意为“被用来做某事”，
与 be used to do sth.同义。
e.g. This new product is used for heating food quickly.
这种新产品是用来快速加热食物的。
e.g. This drug is used to lower blood pressure.
