slowly. The world was made much smaller by the radio. Suddenly,

Peter: An Italian inventor called Guglielmo Marconi. He developed the idea in the 1890s. In 1901, a radio message was sent across the Atlantic Ocean for the first time.
Fu Xing: Wow! That was quite a distance at that time.
