I was woken up by a strange noise that came from outside my window. I saw something that was moving near the glass, and I was so afraid that I ran downstairs quickly. I found my mom in the kitchen, who was getting my brother ready for school.
“Mom, did you hear anything strange ” I asked nervously. “I believe that I saw an alien just now.”
“Are you OK It was only a bad dream,” Mom said with a smile.
Then I went back to my room. When I walked to the window, I was shocked to see a small alien that was less than three feet tall with big black eyes. It tried to run between my legs and get out through the window. Although I was really scared, I closed my legs at once to catch it. But it took out a small thing and hurt me. I felt so empty and terrible that I fainted at once.
When I woke up, I could hardly move at first. I didn’t know whether what I saw was real or just a dream, so I stood up and walked downstairs again. I saw my mom in the kitchen, who was preparing my brother for school and wearing her pink clothes. Then I realized that it was only a dream, because I remembered that she wore her work clothes in my dream.
After that night, I kept having dreams about aliens, and all the dreams that I had felt so real. At that time, I even thought that I might have a special connection with aliens. About two months later, I didn’t have such dreams any more. Soon I realized why I had those dreams: I always read books or watched TV shows about aliens before I went to sleep every night.
