Ada Lovelace (1815–1852) was one of the most (1)______ women in 19th-century science. Today, she is known as “the first computer programmer”. Ada’s family was far from (2)______. Her mother was a mathematician, and her father was a famous poet. Ada studied advanced mathematics when she was growing up, and also met many scientists.
