Unit 4 Amazing Plants and Animals
Section B Project
Content analysis
This project-based section centers on creating a nature poster. Students choose a plant or animal as their theme, and explore its name, living environment, features and fun facts. By collecting relevant information and completing guided tasks, students deepen their understanding of the organism and its ecological background.
The activity is designed to spark students’ interest in natural science. It cultivates students’ teamwork, communication, problem-solving and practical creativity. It also helps students recognize the close bond between living creatures and humans, and strengthen their awareness of nature protection.
This text serves as a clear instructional guide for project learning. It follows a step-by-step structure: theme selection, information collection, poster making, as well as presentation and voting. It mainly adopts imperative sentences, such as “Work in groups” and “Collect pictures”, to direct students’ operations, with concise and standardized language, enabling students to carry out the project efficiently.
