My Music Story
The present that changed my life was the guitar my father
bought me for my eighth birthday. I spent the next several months
learning to play the guitar. I often sat next to my father while he
showed me how to play a song. Then I went to my room and practised until my fingers hurt. I had a lot of trouble at first. But gradually, I becamegood at playing the guitar.

Some of my schoolmates invited me to join their band. At first, I was too shy to play in front of people. Then I realized that I enjoyed music more when I shared it with others. We had great fun playing music and I made good friends with those in the band. Nowadays, our band is getting more and more popular. We often take part in performances both inside and outside our school.

Music is like a bright light in my life, and the piano is my best friend. I started playing the piano when I was ten years old.
At first, it was hard for me to play the right notes. But I kept practising every day. When I felt sad, playing the piano made me happy. When I was tired, its beautiful sounds relaxed me. It also taught me the meaning of persistence.
Now, the piano is an important part of my life. It not only brings me joy but also makes me a better person. I will love my piano forever.
