一、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up（话题导入）（3 min）
T: Good morning! This unit we'll talk about My School. Look at the picture. Can you name the places in a school dining hall, gym, office, sports field…
Ss: (说出学校场所词汇)
T: Great. We'll also learn to say where they are — with prepositions of place.
话题导入——方位介词图谱
【过渡语】通过校园平面图激活场所词汇，自然引入方位介词。
【知识点】方位介词：in front of, behind, next to, between, across from。
Step 2 Speaking（1a 看图说位置）（6 min）
1a 用方位介词谈论位置
T: Look at the picture. Talk about the positions. A: Where's the dining hall B: It's in front of the art building.
Ss: (两人一组，用 Where's… It's + 方位介词 描述图中各处位置)
T: Who can describe two more places

【过渡语】在真实语境中操练方位介词与目标问句。
【知识点】Where's + 单数地点 — It's + 介词短语；注意 between…and… 连用。
【句型剖析】`Where's the dining hall ` `It's in front of the art building.` in front of 意为「在……前面」，反义为 behind「在……后面」。
Step 3 Listening（1b-1c 听力）（7 min）
1b-1c 听音排序与填空
T: Listen to the conversations. Number the places in the order you hear them: the shop, a classroom, Ms Gao's office. Then listen again and complete: The classroom is behind the sports field. The teachers' building is across from the school hall. The student centre is between the library and the gym.

Step 4 Pairwork（1d 角色扮演）（4 min）
1d 用自己语言表演对话
T: Listen and repeat the conversations in 1b. Then role-play with your own words: Is there…in this school Yes, there is. / No, there isn't.
Ss: (跟读后两人一组，用 There be 一般疑问句编演对话)

【过渡语】从跟读模仿过渡到自由表达，内化 There be 疑问句。

Step 5 Pronunciation（语音）（4 min）
T: Listen and repeat the sounds / :/ / / /u:/ /u/ (sport/fox/food/look). Then notice the stressed syllables: library, interesting, computer, important.
Ss: (跟读元音对比与重音词)
语音板块——元音对比与单词重音
发音提示：/ :/ 长音（sport/short/fork）与 / / 短音（fox/shot/clock）口型不同；多音节词重音多在第一个音节（LI-brary, IM-por-tant）。
Step 6 Listening & Reading（2a-2c Peter 的教室）（9 min）
2a-2c 听填+问答+判断
T: Listen to Peter and his mum. Fill in the blanks: the teacher's desk is in front of the blackboard; Peter sits at the back of the classroom; there's a smart whiteboard next to it. Then match questions with answers (2b) and circle T/F (2c).
Ss: (听填 2a，完成 2b 匹配与 2c 判断：40 desks / sits at back / two blackboards / no lockers→things in drawers)
T: Check: Is Peter's classroom large Yes. Are there lockers No, they use drawers.

Step 7 Speaking（2d-2e 描述教室）（4 min）

T: What's your new classroom like It's large. List the things in Peter's and your classroom (2e): blackboard, smart whiteboard, desks, chairs, notices, plants…
Ss: (两人一组描述自己教室，并与 Peter 的教室对比列举物品)

T: Today we learned school places and prepositions. We can ask Where's… and Is there… Homework: recite the words, make conversations with Where's… / Is there… , and preview Grammar Focus.
