一、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up（猜偏好导入）（3 min）
T: Good morning! Look at the girl — Daisy. Can you guess her preferences Her favourite color is purple, her favourite fruit is apple… What's her favourite subject English! And what about you

Step 2 Presentation（科目词汇呈现）（5 min）
T: Look at the pictures. What subjects are they English, Chinese, math, P.E., geography, biology, music, art, history…

T: P.E. 是 physical education 的缩略形式；一首音乐是 a piece of music。

T: Listen to the two conversations. Tick the subjects Ella and Peter talk about. Then listen again and circle: ① Ella doesn't like history/geography because it's hard/boring. ② Her favourite subject is art/maths because it's fun/important. ③ Peter doesn't like maths/IT because it's boring/difficult. ④ Peter's favourite subject is Chinese/PE because it's useful/exciting.

【过渡语】两遍听力由抓科目名到辨析原因词，梯度训练听力。

Step 5 Speaking（1d 谈论最爱科目）（4 min）
1d 结对谈论并说明原因
T: Talk about your favourite subject. A: What's your favourite subject B: My favourite subject is art. A: Why do you like art B: Because it's fun.

Step 6 Listening & Reading（2a-2b 听填与表格）（9 min）

T: Listen and fill in the blanks: History is Emma's favourite subject — it's interesting to learn about the past. Meimei's favourite subject is English — it's useful and her teacher is nice. Then read and complete the table: Binbin likes maths because he's good with numbers.

【过渡语】在较长对话中捕捉「人物—科目—原因」三类信息。
【知识点】It's interesting to do sth.；be good with numbers 善于应付数字。

T: Listen again and pay attention to the linking: get up — /t/ and / / join together. Now role-play the conversation in pairs.

Step 8 Production（2d-2f 采访与报告）（6 min）
2d-2f 分类、采访并作报告
T: First put the subjects into groups by their descriptions (fun/interesting/useful/difficult…). Make sentences like: I think P.E. is interesting. Then interview two classmates: What's your favourite subject Why What other subjects do you like Finally give a report: Li Hua's favourite subject is English. She likes it because it's useful.

2e 采访同学并记录
【过渡语】从采访收集信息到第三人称汇报，完成真实交际任务。

T: Today we learned school subjects and how to talk about favourites with reasons. Remember: Why… Because… but never use because and so together. Homework: remember the new words and talk about your favourite subject with your partner.
