T: Read the message board. Mike Davis @musician from Canada studies maths, music, French, history, English, IT, biology and gym. Wu Binbin @mathswhiz from China has Chinese, history, maths, English, music, PE, geography, biology, IT and art. Underline all the school subjects each student has.

T: a lot of = lots of — many + 可数, much + 不可数. Kind: all kinds of 各种各样 / a kind of 一种 / kind of 有点 / be kind to 对……亲切. Want: want sth / want to do sth / want sb to do sth.

Step 7 探究·导学（work out 与词形变化）（5 min）
T: We learn how to work out maths problems. 疑问词+不定式作 learn 的宾语；work out 是动词+副词短语，代词作宾语要放中间：work it out. 词形变化：sing→singer, science→scientist, magic→magical, French→France.
Ss: (归纳 -er/-ist 构词并完成词形练习)

【句型剖析】`疑问词 + 不定式`（how to work out maths problems）作 learn 的宾语；`work out` 为「动词+副词」短语，代词宾语放中间：work it out。
