教学重难点 重点：俱乐部词汇与 can/can't 问答句型；What club do you want to join 的运用（课本 p.51-52）。难点：静音字母（失去爆破）的听辨与朗读（p.53）；play 球类与 play the + 乐器在冠词上的差异。
一、教学过程
Step 1 Warm-up（3 min）
T: Watch a video about school clubs, then answer: Can you swim / draw / sing
Ss: Yes, I can. / No, I can't.（快速接龙作答）
视频导入——Can you… 能力问答
【过渡语】由「会不会」唤醒旧知，自然进入俱乐部话题。
【知识点】can 是情态动词，表能力，后接动词原形；否定式 can't = cannot。
Step 2 呈现（俱乐部词汇）（5 min）
T: Look! Our school has six clubs: the science club, the music club, the drama club, the chess club, the art club and the ping-pong club.（p.51）
Ss: 跟读并认读俱乐部名称。

【知识点】俱乐部名称 = the + 活动(+ing) + club，如 the swimming club、the drama club；join 意为「参加；加入」（p.51）。
Step 3 1a 匹配（4 min）
T: 1a Match the clubs with the picture.（p.51）
Ss: 独立匹配后核对：1.art club-C 2.science club-A 3.drama club-F 4.music club-D 5.chess club-B 6.ping-pong club-E。

Step 4 听力（1b-1c）（8 min）
T: 1b Listen: Which club does each student want to join （p.52）
Ss: 听第一遍勾选：the ping-pong club / the chess club / the drama club。
T: 1c Listen again and complete the sentences.（p.52）
Ss: 第二遍补全：Teng Fei can play ping-pong; Sam can't play Chinese chess; Lin Hua can read with feeling。
1b-1c 听力：选俱乐部并补全句子（课本 p.52）
【知识点】play Chinese chess 下中国象棋——棋类、球类前不加冠词；read with feeling 有感情地朗读（p.52）。
Step 5 1d 角色扮演（4 min）
T: Role-play a conversation between a club leader and a student.（p.52）
Ss: 结对表演：Hello! I want to join… / Great! Can you… / Yes, I can. / No, I can't…
1d 俱乐部负责人与学生角色扮演（课本 p.52）
【过渡语】把听力输入转化为口头输出，落实「灵活使用目标语言对话」。
Step 6 Pronunciation（静音字母）（4 min）
T: Listen and repeat. Notice that the letters in brackets are silent: a bla(ck) cat / an ol(d) kite / a bla(ck) board / si(t) down; Wha(t) club do you wan(t) to join （p.53）
Ss: 模仿朗读，体会失去爆破。
语音——括号内字母不发音（课本 p.53）
【知识点】失去爆破：/k/ /t/ /d/ 等爆破音在某辅音前不发出，只做口型停顿。
Step 7 听读（2a-2c）（9 min）
T: 2a Listen to the conversation and fill in the blanks.（p.53-54）
Ss: 补全：Peter: I have no idea. / What about you, Emma / I'd love to, but I can't play any musical instruments. / That's great!
T: 2b Read and complete the table.（p.54）
Ss: 梳理：Peter can play the guitar（and ping-pong）; Emma can sing well; Ella can play the violin。再完成 2c 关注静音字母并角色扮演。
2a-2c 听读对话并完成表格（课本 p.53-54）
【知识点】Here's some good news! 中 news 为不可数名词；I'd love to = I would love to 表乐意。
【易错提醒】can't play any musical instruments——否定句中用 any；乐器类名词前加 the：play the guitar / play the drums。
Step 8 2d-2e 自评与讨论（4 min）
T: 2d Circle can or can't with your own information. Then tick the club(s) you want to join. 2e Discuss what clubs you want to join.（p.54）
Ss: 小组内问答：A: What club do you want to join B: I want to join the sports club. A: Can you… B: Yes, I can. / No, I can't.

Step 9 探究·导学与课堂小结（4 min）
T: 归纳本课语言点并小结句型。
Ss: 记录笔记并用目标句型各造一句。
探究·导学——play / join / tell·speak·say 用法
【句型剖析】play + 球类/棋类（不加 the）：play soccer / play Chinese chess；play + the + 乐器：play the violin；play with sb./sth. 和…一起玩。
【句型剖析】join 后接团体组织并成为其中一员（join the art club）；表示加入活动、聚会、比赛时用 join in（join in the game）。
【句型剖析】tell 着重「告诉」，tell stories / tell sb. to do sth.；speak 着重开口发声，多作不及物动词（speak English）；say 着重说的内容（say it in English）。
