Step 1 节日与月份（5 min）
T: New Year's Day is in… / Spring Festival is often in… / Teachers' Day is in… / National Day is in… （p.71）
Ss: January / February（春节常在 1-2 月）/ September / October……

Ss: 朗读并替换自己信息练习。
3a 生日日期问答示范（课本 p.71）
【知识点】答日期用 on：It's on + 具体日期。
Step 3 3b 疑问词选配（8 min）
T: 3b Fill in the blanks with the question words. Then match the questions with the answers.（p.71）
Ss: 填词：① When ② How many ③ What ④ How old ⑤ How much ⑥ Who ⑦ Where ⑧ Why——再依据答语语义完成问答配对。

Step 4 语法精讲（特殊疑问句）（6 min）
T: ① 概念：以特殊疑问词引导、寻求信息的疑问句，一般用降调。② 结构：疑问词 + be 动词/助动词/情态动词 + 主语 + 其他 （When is your birthday / What do you want to do… ）③ 疑问词：when 时间 / how old 年龄 / what 什么 / how much 价格 / how many 数量 / who 谁 / where 哪里 / why 原因（p.71）
Ss: 记录疑问词功能表并互相问答。
特殊疑问句概念、结构与疑问词归纳（课本 p.71）
【易错提醒】how old 问年龄（How old is your brother —He's 10.）；how many + 可数名词复数（How many candles —Twelve.）；how much 问价格或不可数量（How much are these oranges —20 yuan in total.）；how 问方式或状况（How is your weekend ）。
Step 5 3c 阅读（特殊生日）（6 min）
T: 3c Read the passage and underline the dates of the special birthdays.（p.71）
Ss: 划出：English Language Day—23rd April（纪念莎士比亚诞辰）；International Nurses Day—12th May（纪念南丁格尔诞辰）。
3c 阅读并划出特殊纪念日日期（课本 p.71）
【文化常识】国际护士节（5 月 12 日）为纪念现代护理事业创始人南丁格尔的诞辰；英语语言日（4 月 23 日）纪念大文豪莎士比亚——纪念日即「特殊生日」。
Step 6 3d 重要纪念日讨论（6 min）
T: 3d Talk about the dates and activities of these special days.（p.71）1st October National Day—the Tiananmen Square flag-raising ceremony; 1st July CPC Founding Day—listen to revolutionary stories; 1st August PLA Day—hold activities to support the military; Dragon Boat Festival（5th May, 农历）—make zongzi, hold boat races。
Ss: 小组讨论并汇报自己喜爱的纪念日活动。
3d 谈论重要纪念日的日期与活动（课本 p.71）
