First, students discuss and choose a topic from hobbies, family, favourites, habits, and talents. Next, they work in groups to prepare question cards, writing two to three questions about their chosen topic. Then, they write down five possible answers to the questions. After that, each student creates a 5×5 bingo card, filling in each square with an answer and leaving the centre square as a "free" space. Finally, the whole class plays the bingo game together, taking turns to pick question cards, read them aloud, and fill in classmates' names on their bingo cards. 2. Language features The lesson uses the simple present tense to describe habits and hobbies and the simple past tense to describe past experiences. It also uses question patterns such as Do you have... and What's your favourite... to ask for information. 3. Language functions Students are able to ask and answer questions about classmates' personal information, describe people's habits, hobbies, and experiences using the correct tenses, create a bingo card and explain the rules of the game, and work in groups to communicate with classmates in English.

【已知】Students have learned basic adjectives to describe people, such as kind, nice, friendly and funny in primary school. They can understand and use simple sentences to talk about their friends, such as He is friendly. They are familiar with school-related topics and can work in pairs to ask and answer questions. They also have basic writing skills and can write simple sentences about themselves and their friends. 【未知】Students do not know how to create a bingo card with a 5×5 grid and a "free" space. They cannot yet ask and answer questions like Do you have... and What's your favourite... to get to know their classmates better. They also do not know how to play the bingo game and complete a row to win. 【能知】 Through class discussion, group work, and the bingo game, students will be able to ask and answer questions about their classmates using Do you... and What's your... . They will be able to describe classmates' habits, hobbies, and past experiences using the simple present tense and the simple past tense. They will also be able to create a 5×5 bingo card with a "free" space and play the game with their classmates to make new friends.

The step-by-step lesson design (review → lead-in → discuss → prepare → create → play) helped students grasp the project smoothly. Students learned to use the simple present tense to describe classmates' habits and hobbies, and the simple past tense to describe past experiences. They also learned to work in groups and play the bingo game to make new friends. 不足：Some weak students could not use the target vocabulary and sentence patterns flexibly in their questions and answers. Limited class time left insufficient time for students to present their bingo cards and share their answers. A few students failed to write possible answers with the correct sentence patterns. Individual students made mistakes in using the simple present tense and the simple past tense when describing classmates. 改进：Offer more sentence frames as learning support for low-level students before group work. Better arrange class time to spare more time for students' presentations and peer sharing. Design more guided practice on using the simple present tense and the simple past tense correctly.
