（四）写作支架——成长故事文本解析
【过渡语】读故事要先搭骨架。让我们给打乱的句子排排序，再拆解李梅成长故事的三段结构。
练习一：给五个句子排出正确顺序并读文检验——1. During my 8th grade, I went through many changes. 2. I often argued with my parents for nothing. 3. Luckily, my elder sister, Zhenzhen, noticed how I was feeling. 4. Little by little, I became more confident. 5. Now, I don't worry about my weight anymore.
练习二：读李梅（Li Mei）的成长故事《Accept Yourself and Share Your Feelings》并完成图表——开端：长高的同时体重快速增加，为此对自己感觉糟糕，常无缘无故和父母争吵；经过：姐姐珍珍注意到她的情绪、倾听她，在姐姐支持下她开始倾诉感受，渐渐变得更自信，与父母的关系也改善了；结局：她学会接纳自己、分享感受，不再为体重烦恼，每天都很开心。

（五）范文仿写与互评
仿照范文《My Story of Growing Up》画自己的成长故事发展图并起草短文。范文要点：王林上八年级时课业加重，一直感到压力很大，对前途担心，常沉默、拒绝与家人交流，时而沮丧孤独；好友注意到他的情绪，倾听并支持他，他开始分享烦恼，渐渐变得积极，与家人关系改善；最后他学会面对压力、与人沟通，不再害怕繁重课业，每天轻松自信。
写完后按评价表自评互评：能否表达对认识自我的看法；是否运用刻画人物的思维技能；是否写清成长故事；结构是否均衡；是否使用单元主题词汇；是否正确使用过去进行时；标点与拼写是否正确。

Beginning: As I was entering Grade 8, I was feeling nervous about my schoolwork. This made me feel worried about my future. I often felt stressed and refused to communicate with my family.

（六）核心词汇精讲
结合语境精讲五个重点词汇：
① crazy adj. 着迷的；疯狂的：be crazy about sb/sth 对……着迷；be crazy to do sth 做某事真是疯了；drive sb crazy 让某人抓狂。
② surprised adj. 感到惊讶的（修饰人）：be surprised at sth；be surprised to do sth；be surprised that + 句子。
③ argue v. 争吵：argue with sb 和某人争吵；argue about/over sth 为某事争吵；argue with sb about sth 因某事和某人吵架。
④ notice v. 注意到：notice sb do sth 注意到某人做了某事（全过程）；notice sb doing sth 注意到某人正在做某事；n. 通知。
