（二）Step 2 文化视野：红场与亚历山大花园
Vincent 的假期是在俄罗斯首都莫斯科度过的，先认识两个著名景点。
Red Square 红场：位于俄罗斯首都莫斯科市中心，临莫斯科河，是莫斯科最古老的广场。红场的北面为俄罗斯国家历史博物馆，东面是莫斯科国立百货商场，西侧是列宁墓和克里姆林宫的红墙及三座高塔。每当俄罗斯举行重要仪式时，领导人会站在列宁墓上观礼阅兵。
Alexander Garden 亚历山大花园：克里姆林宫红墙外的一个长方形公园，由上园、中园和下园三部分组成，总长约 904 米，宽约 150 米。花园始建于 1821 年，以沙皇亚历山大一世的名字命名。雕像基座侧面有浮雕，一面展现 1813 年莱比锡郊外战役场景，另一面呈现 1814 年亚历山大一世进入巴黎的画面。

（三）Step 3 1b 快速阅读：日记两篇
1b Read Vincent's diary entries about his holiday. Then answer the questions.（课本 p.6）

Q2: How did he feel during the trip —He felt excited, moved, sick, amazed and happy.
日记原文（课本 p.6-7）：
17 July
Today was our first day to visit Moscow. The weather was fine and everyone felt excited to visit some famous places in Russia.
In the morning, we went to the Victory Museum. The Russian people built this museum to remember their fight against the Nazis during World War II. As we walked through the halls, the tour guide told us stories about the war.
In one hall, I saw an artwork with thousands of glass “tears” falling down. It reminds us that war is terrible and peace does not come easily. We should not forget that.
At noon, we had lunch at a restaurant near the park. I liked the ice cream there, so I ate a lot of it. But, during dinner, I didn't feel like eating because I felt sick. So now, I just want to get a good night's sleep.
18 July
It rained last night, so this morning the air was fresh and cool. I felt much better today.
We took the Moscow Metro to travel around. The metro stations are really beautiful. Sometimes I felt like I was walking inside a palace. After that, we went to Red Square. We saw some fantastic buildings there.
In the afternoon, we arrived at a school and met a group of Russian students. We played games and soon became friends. Later, someone took out his accordion, and soon everyone got together to sing and dance. We were so happy that we didn't notice the time. It was such a good experience!

（四）Step 4 Careful reading：细节八问
Read the first diary entry again and answer the questions.

Q3: Why didn't Vincent eat dinner —Because he felt sick.

Read the second diary entry again and answer the questions.

Q7: What two activities helped Vincent make friends with Russian students —They played games, and then got together to sing and dance.

（七）Step 7 语言点：remind / feel like / so...that...
1. remind v. 提醒；使想起，常见结构有三种：
① remind sb. that + 从句：My dad reminds me that honesty is the most important quality. 爸爸提醒我诚实是最重要的品质。课文原句：It reminds us that war is terrible and peace does not come easily. 它提醒我们，战争是可怕的，和平来之不易。
② remind sb. of sth. 提醒某人某事；使某人想起某事：The smell of cookies baking reminds me of my grandmother's house. 烤饼干的香味让我想起祖母的家。
③ remind sb. to do sth. 提醒某人去做某事：Please remind me to call my friend tomorrow. 请提醒我明天给朋友打电话。
2. But, during dinner, I didn't feel like eating because I felt sick. 但是，在晚餐时，我不想吃东西，因为我感觉不舒服。feel like + 动名词(doing)，表示“想要做某事”；feel like + 从句(that 可省略)，表示“感觉好像……仿佛觉得……”。例：After running for an hour, I didn't feel like doing any homework. As I lay on the bed, I felt like my legs were made of cotton.
3. We were so happy that we didn't notice the time. 我们太高兴了，都没注意到时间。so...that... 表示“如此……以至于……”，连接结果状语从句。例：The room was so dark that I couldn't see anything. 房间如此暗，以至于我什么都看不见。
思路点拨：判断 remind 结构：后接 that 从句→结构①；接 of+名词→结构②；接 to do→结构③。

易错提醒
注意区分：remind sb. of sth. 表“使想起”， remind sb. to do sth. 表“提醒去做”，不要混用；feel like 后不能直接接不定式。

快速阅读先看两问中的关键词 places 和 feel，再回原文圈出地点名词和感受形容词，不必逐词精读。
细节题先读问句确定信息类型（原因/感受/活动），再回定位到相应段落找依据句。
第 2 题先辨词性：speak 后接语言名 Russian，from 后接国名 Russia，再定选项。
