Retell the instructions（看图复述六步）：First, wash the potatoes and cut them into pieces. → Second, put the potatoes in a pot and boil them until they are soft. → Third, get one tablespoon of butter and half a cup of milk. → Next, mash the potatoes. → Then, add the milk and butter to the potatoes, and mix. → Finally, add salt and pepper.
顺序连接词：用于描述一系列动作、步骤或事件的先后顺序，让表达更加有条理。First, ... / Next, ... / Then, ... / Finally, ...（后面的动词保持一致，可以是动词原形开头，也可以是句子）
1d Talk about how to make mashed potatoes in your own words.（课本 p.42）问答范例：A: How do you make mashed potatoes B: First, wash the potatoes. A: What do you do after that B: Cut them into small pieces. 发音要领：/ / 由 / / 滑向 / /，口形由半开到收圆；/a / 由 /ɑ / 滑向 / /，双唇逐渐收圆；/ / /e / / / 分别由 / / /e/ / / 滑向 / /。/sk/ /st/ /sp/ /str/ 中 /s/ 与清辅音结合时要浊化：/k/→/ɡ/、/t/→/d/、/p/→/b/、/tr/→/dr/（school /sku l/ 读 /sɡu l/）。

易错提醒
注意：对“量词的数词”提问用 how many——How many tablespoons of butter... ；对“全部修饰语”提问才用 how much。
注意：s 后的清辅音要浊化（sp→/sb/, st→/sd/, sk→/sɡ/, str→/sdr/），但只发生在重读音节中；flour 与 flower 发音完全相同 / fla (r)/。
注意：mash 的过去分词 mashed 作定语修饰 potatoes；不要再写 mash potatoes。
答题技巧
先抓每句的核心动词（add/cut up/mix/bake/pour/boil），再在图中找对应动作。
排序抓逻辑链：先洗切（1）→再煮软（2）→备料（3）→捣泥（4）→加奶黄油搅拌（5）→最后调味（6）。
③How many（potatoes 可数）；⑨How much（milk and butter 不可数）； How delicious 感叹句提前埋下 Grammar Focus 的伏笔。
复述六步走：洗切→煮软→备料→捣泥→加料搅拌→调味——顺序连接词一个都不能少。
第 4 题易错：cut 的过去式还是 cut，不要写成 cutted；第 7 题祈使句否定用 Don't 开头。
