（二）Step 2 1a 职业词与构词后缀
1a Look at the pictures. Do you think these jobs are interesting （课本 p.52）IT engineer 工程师 / fashion designer 设计师 / film director 导演 / musician 音乐家 / fireman 消防队员 / teacher 教师。
List all the jobs you know：basketball player / dancer / pianist / police officer / violinist / scientist / singer / painter / doctor / cook / nurse / astronaut ...
构词规律归纳：-er→singer, lawyer, teacher, player, engineer, designer, painter, firefighter；-r→driver, dancer, officer；-ist→pianist, violinist, scientist, dentist；-or→actor, doctor, director；-ian→musician, magician；-ress→actress, waitress；-man→policeman, postman, fireman。
Think and talk：I want to be a musician. Because I'm good at singing and dancing.

思路点拨：fireman→firefighter 同义换说法，听力里两个都会出现。
（三）Step 3 1b-1c 听力：圈职业、配计划
Pre-listening：John、Tina、Jason 三位同学也要分享梦想职业。
1b Listen to the conversations. Circle in 1a the three jobs you hear.（课本 p.52）答案：fireman / IT engineer / fashion designer
1c Listen again and find out what each student is going to do. Match the names with the statements.（课本 p.52）

Listen again and fill in the blanks.

（五）Step 5 1d 谈论三人的梦想与打算
1d Talk about the jobs that John, Jason, and Tina want to do.（课本 p.52）问答支架：What does he/she want to be when he/she grows up —He/She wants to be ... How is he/she going to realize his/her dream —He/She is going to ...
范例：What does John want to be when he grows up —He wants to be a fireman. He is going to exercise every day. / What does Jason want to be —He wants to be an IT engineer. He is going to work hard at maths and read more books about IT and AI. / What does Tina want to be —She wants to be a fashion designer. She is going to take art lessons and practise her drawing skills every day.
Survey 小组调查：What do you want to be —I want to be ... How are you going to ... —I'm going to ...（记录 Name / What / How）
实现梦想四件套：study hard / practise more / work harder / make a good plan and do it。金句：Where there is a will, there is a way!

（六）Step 6 Pronunciation：八组辅音与连读弱读
1 Listen and repeat. Add one more word to each group.（课本 p.53）
/h/ h, wh：habit, human, who（补充：whole）；/w/ w, wh：want, week, what（wing）；/θ/ th：think, earth, maths（three）；/ / th：than, though, father（brother）；/k/ c, k, ck：actor, cook, luck（cat）；/kw/ qu：quiet, queen, question（quick）；/ / s, sh：sugar, share, fashion（shoe）；/ / s：usually, pleasure, television（treasure）
发音要领：/h/ 清辅音声带不振动，气流不受阻碍仅有轻微摩擦；/w/ 浊辅音双唇突出呈小圆口形；/θ/ / / 舌尖轻抵上齿背或放在上下齿之间挤气摩擦，前者声带不振动、后者振动；/k/ 舌后部弓起紧贴软腭后突然放开爆破成音；/kw/ 由 /k/ 滑向 /w/；/ / 双唇稍向前突出挤气摩擦；/ / 口型同 / / 但声带振动。
2 Listen and repeat. Notice how the coloured words are pronounced.——What do you want to be when you grow up / I want to be a fireman. / How are you going to do that / I'm going to exercise every day, because a fireman needs to be strong.
连读：do you 读 /du ju /；want to 弱读连读为 / w n /（口语缩略 wanna）；going to 弱读连读为 / ɡ t /（缩略 gonna）。
弱读：说话者会弱读不太重要的功能词，元音一般弱化为 / /——冠词 a / / an / n/ the / /；介词 at / t/ for /f / of / v/ to /t /；连词 and / nd/ but /b t/；代词 you /j / them / m/；助动词 am / m/ are / / can /k n/ must /m st/ ...
思路点拨：朗读检查：s 后的元音、弱读的小词一带而过，重读实词读清楚——强弱得当才地道。

当堂完成，答案见各题下方。

易错提醒
注意：a fireman needs to be strong 中 need 是实义动词，后接 to do；fit 在此是形容词“健壮的”，不要误当成名词“合身”。
注意：whole 的 w 不发音，读 /h l/——wh 有时读 /h/（who/whose/whole），有时读 /w/（what/when/where）。
注意：want to be 中 to be 不能丢——want to be+职业名词，漏了 be 就成了“想要某个职业”的错句。
答题技巧
记职业词抓后缀：动作者多加 -er/-r，-ist/-or/-ian 多表专业行当，-ress 表女性。
匹配先定职业：fireman→锻炼身体，IT engineer→数学和 IT 书，fashion designer→美术课和画画。
⑦fit 与 strong 同义呼应——消防员既要有力量也要有好体能。
转述他人计划：主语 he/she 时 be going to 的 be 用 is，动词用三单 wants。
辨音先看拼写：th 在实词里多读 /θ/（think/three），在代词、连词、the 里多读 / /（this/they/than）。
第 1-3 题都是 be going to 句型：主语不同 be 不同（you→are / sister→does / she→is）。
语言点归纳
八组辅音字母组合：h,wh→/h/；w,wh→/w/；th→/θ/或/ /；c,k,ck→/k/；qu→/kw/；s,sh→/ /；s→/ /；
连读：want to→wanna / w n /，going to→gonna / ɡ n /；
弱读：功能词元音弱化为 / /——a/ /、to/t /、for/f /、can/k n/。
