（二）Step 2 听前预测与 2a 填空
Look and guess：Who are the two speakers —Jennifer and Helen. What are they talking about —Future predictions.

（五）Step 5 语言点：对话词汇与重点短语
1. I'm watching a video about future predictions. video n. 视频；future predictions 未来预测。efficient / f nt/ adj. 效率高的；有功效的；traffic n. 交通（traffic accidents 交通事故）；transport n. / tr np t/ 交通运输系统，v. /tr n sp t/ 运输（名前动后重音不同）；system n. 系统。
2. And people will live longer. longer 是 long 的比较级；How long will most people live how long 询问时间长度。定语从句初步：They will study at home or any place they want.（any place 后省略关系词的定语从句）；状语从句：Machines will tell us how to solve small health problems before they become bigger.（before 引导时间状语从句，主句用将来时从句用一般现在时）。
3. 重点短语回顾：be more people in cities 城市人口会增加 / be fewer traffic accidents 交通事故会减少 / the transport system will be more efficient 交通系统会更高效 / study at home 在家学习 / live to be over 100 years old 寿命超过 100 岁 / have better health care technology 拥有更先进的医疗技术 / solve small health problems 解决小的健康问题 / future predictions 未来预测。

易错提醒
注意：It means that... 这意味着——that 引导宾语从句，解释上文的含义。
注意：health care 医疗保健是名词短语作定语——health care technology 医疗保健技术，中间不加连字符。
注意：How long 问时间长度（答 for+时间段或寿命），问“多久以后”要用 how soon（答 in+时间段）——两者不能混。
注意：live to be over 100 years old 活到 100 多岁——over=more than，to be 不能省。
答题技巧
①② 都是 there will be 句型：人变多用 more，事故变少用 fewer。
判断“积极/消极”抓积极词：efficient / fewer accidents / better technology / live to be 150。
more+可数/不可数都行，fewer+可数复数，less+不可数——问句里选对量词是得分点。
听力填空先预判结构：but 前后语意转折——人多但交通更高效。
第 10 题连词成句先找主干 It means that...，再排 there will be fewer traffic accidents。
