学习过程
（一）Step 1 热身：畅想十年后的自己与城市
Free talk：Imagine how you will live in the future——Transportation 交通运输 / Work place 工作地方 / Environment 环境 / Daily Life 日常生活 / Education / Housing 居住。
Think about these questions：Can you predict what you will be like in 10 years In ten years, what will your job be Where will you live How will people travel around What will the buildings be like What will the environment be like What activities will people be able to do in their free time

思路点拨：预测先想六个维度：住哪、干什么、怎么出行、建筑什么样、环境如何、玩什么。
（二）Step 2 4a-4b 讨论与筛选预测
4a Work in groups. Discuss what your city/town will be like in the future. Try to think of many different ideas.（课本 p.70）讨论问题：What will our city/town be like when we are 35 years old Will many people live here What will the buildings be like How will people travel around What activities will people be able to do in their free time Will there be more parks and museums What will the environment be like
For example（范例答句）：It will be greener. Streets will have more trees and flowers, even on rooftops 屋顶！/ No. Some people will move out. / The buildings will be taller. People will travel around by self-driving cars or flying cars. / They will be able to go to other planets to travel. / Yes, there will be. / The environment will be better. The air will be fresher. And there will be less pollution 污染。
更多可问：What will the transport system be like Will students study at home instead of going to school Will people be able to live under the sea
4b As a group, decide which predictions are more likely to come true.（课本 p.70）筛选标准：有科技趋势支撑（self-driving cars 已在测试）、符合环保方向（greener/less pollution）。

（三）Step 3 4c-4d 画图展示与投票
4c Draw pictures that show these predictions.（课本 p.70）4d Show your pictures to other groups. Have them guess your predictions.（课本 p.70）
Introduce and vote：Share your predictions about the future with classmates. Then vote for the most creative drawing. Checklist：Image Tidiness 画面整齐度 / Content Richness 内容丰富度 / Rationality of Color Matching 色彩搭配的合理性。
拓展讨论一：How do you think technology will change our lives 1. Technology will make travel smarter. People will take driverless buses or shared electric cars more often. There will be fewer traffic jams. 2. Online learning will become more flexible. We will have AI teachers to help with difficult subjects, and we can study courses from different countries at home. We won't need to carry heavy textbooks—all materials will be on tablets. 3. Smart homes will be common. Our phones will control lights, air conditioners and fridges. When we are not at home, we can check if the windows are closed through an app, which will make life safer and easier. 4. New technology will help protect the environment. Factories will use cleaner energy like solar power, and there will be machines that can turn waste into useful things. The air and water will be cleaner.
拓展讨论二：How will you get ready for the future 1. Try to do small science projects or use simple design tools to create things. 2. Study hard at school, especially math, science and English. 3. Read books or watch videos about new technologies in your free time. Keep asking questions, and learn to find answers by yourself. 4. Take part in group activities at school, like team projects or sports. Teamwork will be useful for most jobs in the future.

（四）Step 4 单元自查与随堂检测
Reflecting——对照四个问题自查本单元掌握情况（课本 p.70）：

2. Can you use the simple future tense to talk about your future life （会用一般将来时谈未来生活吗？）
3. How do you think technology will change our lives （科技将如何改变生活？）
4. How will you get ready for the future （你将如何为未来做准备？）

易错提醒
注意：be able to do 有能力做——will be able to go to other planets 是 will+be able to+原形的固定组合。
注意：driverless 无人驾驶的（drive+否定后缀-less）；shared electric cars 共享电动车——复合形容词中间不加逗号。
注意：Seize the day 把握当下（seize 抓住），与 look forward to the future 展望未来对仗——介词 to 后接名词。
注意：第 1 题语境是“现在决定待会儿洗”——临时决定用 will wash，不用 be going to（无事先计划）。
答题技巧
likely to come true 更可能成真——判断依据：现在的科技趋势和环保共识。
猜图游戏句式：Is there going to be ... / Will there be ... ——猜错再猜，猜中给星。
Reflecting 第 2 问自评标准：能说出 will 四句型+there will be+more/fewer/less 三层才算掌握。
第 3、4、8 题都是主将从现：if / as soon as / when 引导的从句用一般现在时，主句用将来时。
语言点归纳
