How do we learn

What does “smart” mean
It has two meanings. First, it tells us to think actively and use proper learning methods. Second, it refers to modern learning with digital and AI tools, such as smart classrooms and smart campuses.

Teng Fei: You begin by taking a test. It will find your weak points. Then
it gives exercises to work on them.
Lisa: Oh, good. That’s smart.
Teng Fei: Exactly!

Choose materials that suit your level and interests.
Read quickly to get the main idea first. Don't read word by word. Try to read groups of words together.
Set a timer for 3-5 minutes. Read as much as you can, then check your understanding.
Keep practising. The more you read, the faster and better you will become.
