情境：做乡村守护人，让乡村价值被看见——Do you love your villages Do you want to help the villagers If yes, just join us!
Today is Social Practice Day（社会实践日）. We will go to Fu Xing's grandparents' yard to help them!
三项任务：Task 1 Know the plants and animals.　Task 2 Count the number of plants and animals（清点数量）.　Task 3 Introduce plants and animals through livestreaming（直播）.

思路点拨：本课以“乡村守护人”三个任务串联：认动植物→清点数量→直播介绍——边做任务边学英语。
（二）Step 2 认识庭院里的植物与动物
What can you see on the yard 植物：apple tree 苹果树　orange tree 橘子树　flower 花　carrot plant 胡萝卜苗 / k r t/　potato plant 土豆苗 /p te t /　tomato plant 番茄苗
What can you see in the yard 动物：dog 狗　rabbit 兔　baby chicken 小鸡　goose 鹅 /ɡu s/　cow 奶牛 /ka /　sheep 绵羊
构词观察：carrot/potato/tomato+plant 表示“……的幼苗、植株”；baby chicken=小鸡（baby 表示“幼小的”）。

思路点拨：看图快问快答：教师指图问 What's this 学生抢答——限时一分钟，比比谁认得多。
（三）Step 3 1a 配对与 1b 指示代词句型
1a Look at the picture. Match the plants and animals with their names.（课本 p.13）baby chickens / dog / rabbits / tomato plants / flowers / apple trees——把图中 A-F 六个字母填到名称前的横线上。
1b Talk about the plants and animals in the picture in 1a.（课本 p.13）
课本对话示例：What's that —It's a cat.　What are these —They're carrot plants.
指示代词 Tip：距离近用 this（单数）/ these（复数）；距离远用 that（单数）/ those（复数）。
句型对应：What is this/that —It is …　What are these/those —They are …

易错提醒
注意：goose 的复数是不规则的 geese（/ɡu s/→/ ɡi s/），不是 gooses；sheep 单复数同形。
注意：this/these 指近处，that/those 指远处——指远处的单数用 that 不用 this；答语中 this/that 都用 it 代替，these/those 都用 they 代替。
注意：fourteen=4+teen 直接拼，但 thirteen/fifteen 要变词根（three→thir-、five→fif-），不能写成 threeteen/fiveteen。
注意：Is that a goose —No, it isn't. It's a duck.——先否定猜测再给出正确答案，这类“先错后对”结构是听力高频考点。
注意：第 3 题问 Are they duck 本身有误——duck 的复数是 ducks；图上动物是鹅，答案 geese。
答题技巧
植物类词看后缀 plant，动物类词逐个记——先把植物和动物分成两组再记忆。
配对抓特征：小鸡是一群毛茸茸的（B 在鹅旁边）、胡萝卜苗是绿叶红果（A）——按图锁定字母再填横线。
听数字先写数字再补字母——thirteen（13）与 thirty（30）重音不同：thirTEEN 重在后，THIRty 重在前。
先圈题干关键词（animal/plants/apple trees/rabbits）再听——听到 No, it isn't 后面紧跟的才是真答案。
答语人称跟问句：What are these/those 用 They're 回答；No 后紧跟 it isn't / they aren't 与问句主语一致。
语言点归纳
指示代词四件套：this 近指单数 / these 近指复数 / that 远指单数 / those 远指复数；
答语简化：this/that→it，these/those→they；
How many+可数名词复数，问数量；
goose→geese（不规则复数），sheep 单复数同形。
