（二）Step 2 1b 精读课文：叔叔的农场
1b Han Lin introduces his uncle's farm to Peter. Read the text and circle the things he talks about in the picture in 1a.（课本 p.16）
课文全文：Look! This is my uncle's farm. It's a big farm. The grass is so green. You can see many kinds of animals. He has pigs, horses, cows, ducks, sheep, and chickens. How many ducks does my uncle have Let me count. One, two, three, four, five, … fourteen ducks! Oh, no. Look there! Another duck is behind the big tree. Do you see that house That's my uncle's home. It's beautiful. Do you like my uncle's farm

（三）Step 3 1c 再读课文补全句子
1c Look at the picture and read the text in 1b again. Complete the sentences.（课本 p.17）

（四）Step 4 1d 更多问答与观点表达
1d Answer more questions about the picture in 1a.（课本 p.17）

Think and share：What do you think of Han Lin's uncle's farm （谈感受或建议）——I (don't) like/love this farm because… / I think it is beautiful / rich / wonderful / big / interesting… / It has many kinds of animals / makes me feel close to nature（亲近自然）…
思路点拨：观点表达没有标准答案——先亮态度（like/don't like）再给 because 理由，言之有理即可。
（五）Step 5 1e 写农场短文与智能农场拓展
1e Write about the farm in 1a in your own words.（课本 p.17）写作支架：Han Lin's uncle has a big farm. He has many kinds of animals. Look at the cows. They are black and white. How many cows do you see I see seven. Look at the ______. They are ______. How many ______ do you see I see ______. … It is a ______ farm.

（六）Step 6 语言点与随堂检测
语言点——①kind n. 种类：each/one/every kind of animal 每一种动物；all/many/other kinds of animals 所有/许多/其他种类的动物（用单数还是复数取决于之前的用词）。②How many ducks does my uncle have （课本 p.16 1b）：How many 与 How much 都可询问数量——How many+可数名词复数（How many apples do you have ）；How much+不可数名词（How much apple juice do you drink every day ）。③count v. 数数：count up to 数到（She can count up to 10 in English.）；count down (to sth.) 倒计时（She counts down to the big day.）；也可作及物动词表示计算总数（Please count the total number of your classmates.）。④another adj. 另一：表示三者及以上中的再一、另一个，后接单数名词（I don't like this one. Please show me another.）；后还可接“数词+名词复数”（She has to stay here for another ten days.）。⑤behind prep. 在……之后：Stay close behind me. 紧跟在我后面。

易错提醒
注意：black and white cows 指“黑白花奶牛”，两种颜色用 and 连接作前置定语。
注意：uncle 既可指叔叔也可指舅舅、伯伯——汉语称谓分得很细，英语统一用 uncle。
注意：another duck 是“又一只”——another 表示再一、另一（个），暗示数量要在已有基础上累加。
注意：else 放在疑问词之后——What else 还有什么（不能说 what's else）；What colour is it（单）/ are they（复）随主语变。
注意：many kinds of+复数名词=各种各样的——many kinds of animals 不能写成 many kind of。
注意：How many 开头的特殊疑问句要用 does/dodo 助动词提问（How many ducks does he have ），漏掉 does 是高频错误。
答题技巧
勾选前逐项读颜色词——black and white / brown / white / red 都要和图对得上再打勾。
边读边圈：圈物品名（名词）不圈动词——pigs/horses/cows/ducks/sheep/chickens/tree/house 逐个回图定位。
第 2 题是本课“陷阱”：文中明说 fourteen，但树后还有 another duck——先加再答，共 fifteen。
问答链套用 1c 三问：What else→How many→What colour——先物后数再颜色，顺序不乱。
写农场三件套：有什么（He has ...）→数量（How many ... I see ...）→评价（It is a ... farm）。
How many/how much 一看名词可不可数；another 后接单数或“数词+复数”，other 直接接复数。
语言点归纳
kind n. 种类：a/one/each kind of+单数；all/many/other kinds of+复数；
How many+可数复数 How much+不可数；
count 数数：count up to 数到 / count down 倒计时 / count+总数；
another 再一、另一（+单数；another+数词+复数）；behind 在……之后。
