情境：与“心”相遇，满“新”欢喜——新生联谊主题班会。Hello, everyone. I'm Mr Smith. Today, you can greet and introduce e on, boys and girls!
热身问答：—Are you Peter —No, I'm not. I'm Gina.　—Hello, Gina. Where is Mr Smith from —He's from the US.
—Are Meimei and Peter in the same class —Yes, they are.　—What class are you in —I'm in Class 1, Grade 7.　—Who's your class teacher —It's Ms Gao.（不知道老师性别时，可用 it 指代）

思路点拨：本课三个任务：找规律（be 动词搭配）→ 练准确（圈词与填空）→ 会运用（介绍新朋友）。
（二）Step 2 3a 圈动词、写 be 动词、找规律
3a Read the sentences and circle the verbs. Then write am, is, or are next to the personal pronouns.（课本 p.23）
General questions（一般疑问句）：Are you Peter —Yes, I am. / No, I'm not.　Are Meimei and Peter in the same class —Yes, they are. / No, they aren't.
Wh-questions（特殊疑问句）：Where is Mr Smith from —He's from the US.　What class are you in —I'm in Class 1, Grade 7.　Who's your class teacher —It's Ms Gao.
规律：I—am　You—are　He/She/It—is　We/They—are
两类问句的差别：一般疑问句用 Yes/No 回答；wh- 问句要用具体信息回答。

【3a 代词搭配】I—am　You—are　He/She/It—is　We/They—are
思路点拨：把 6 个例句按“一般/特殊”分成两栏读一读，感受答语的不同。
（三）Step 3 be 动词口诀与主语搭配练习
be 动词的一般现在时有三种形式：am、is、are。
口诀：我用 am，你用 are，is 连着她（she）、他（he）、它（it）；单数 is，复数 are。
搭配练习（把主语与 be 动词连线）：he—is　she—is　I—am　you—are　they—are　we—are；some water—is　You and I—are　children—are　that ruler—is　my parents—are　a pen—is　Bob and Bill—are　this dog—is　Chinese people—are。

（四）Step 4 3b 圈词与 3c 补全短文
3b Circle the correct words to complete the sentences.（课本 p.23）

（五）Step 5 3d 介绍新朋友（Level A / Level B）
3d Introduce one of your new friends to a partner.（课本 p.23）物主代词对应：I—my　he—his　she—her。
句型支架：Hello! I'm… This is my new friend. His/Her name is… He's/She's from… His/Her favourite… is…
Level A（问候他人并介绍自己）：Useful expressions—Hello.　I'm…　My name is…　I'm from…　I'm in Class…　My class teacher is…　My favourite… is…
Level B（问候他人并介绍一个自己的朋友）：Useful expressions—Hello.　I'm…　This is my new friend.　His/Her name is…　He's/She's in Class…　He's/She's from…　His/Her favourite… is…

（六）Step 6 随堂检测
当堂完成随堂检测，答案见各题下方。

易错提醒
注意：Are you… 的肯定回答是 Yes, I am.（不能缩写成 Yes, I'm），否定回答 No, I'm not. 可以缩写。
注意：You and I 是两个人，用 are（You and I are good friends.）；that ruler、this dog 中的 that/this 是单数指示词，用 is。
注意：Lin Hai's favourite color 是颜色这一件事，用 is——物主+s+名词整体看单复数，别被人名迷惑。
注意：I→my（我的）、he→his（他的）、she→her（她的）一一对应，介绍男生全句用 he/his，介绍女生全句用 she/her，中途不能换。
注意：I and she 是两个人用 are（习惯上英语把 I 放在并列主语最后：She and I… 更地道）；Yes, I am. 不能缩写。
答题技巧
判断 be 动词先看主语：I 用 am；you、复数（we/they/两人名）用 are；he/she/it、单数名词用 is。
不可数名词（some water）与单数名词一样用 is；Chinese people、children 看似单数实为复数，用 are。
3b 抓主语单复数：Emma and Ella（两人）→are；Lisa's pet cat（一只猫）→is。3c 通读全文再填：我→am，她→is，Sally and I（两人）→are。
介绍朋友三要素：名字（His/Her name is…）→来自哪里（He's/She's from…）→喜好（His/Her favourite… is…）。
填 be 动词口诀先行：我用 am 你用 are，is 连着她他它，单数 is 复数 are；改错题先读再改，缩写规则是高频考点。
