Last month, our school invited all Senior One students to take part in a special challenge called 'Seven Days Without Screens'. The rule was simple: for seven days, we could not use phones, computers or tablets. Almost everyone in my class signed up, and my best friend Zhou Kai joined too. I decided to have a try, though I knew it would not be easy for me. 1________
On the first morning, I reached for my phone as usual before I remembered the challenge. I felt nervous, as if part of me were missing. 2________ Slowly, I began to notice things around me: the birds outside my window, the smell of breakfast and my mother's smile.
In the following days, life became surprisingly rich. I finished two novels, helped my father cook dinner and played table tennis with my neighbours after school. 3________ I even taught my grandmother how to use her new camera. Without a phone in my hand, I listened better and laughed a lot.
Of course, there were difficult moments. When my classmates discussed a popular online show, I had nothing to say and felt left out. At lunch, I sat quietly and watched others talk. 4________ However, I reminded myself why I had joined the challenge, and this thought kept me going.
By the end of the week, I had learned something important. Screens are useful tools, but they should not control our time. 5________ Now I keep my phone away for one hour every evening, and I feel more relaxed and confident than before. The challenge has truly changed my lifestyle.

五、阅读理解
(一)
When Lin Qiao graduated from university two years ago, her friends expected her to find a job in a big city. Instead, she chose to teach English in a remote village in the mountains. Her parents were worried about her, but she said, "My life is what I make it."
Life in the village was harder than she had imagined. The classroom was small and cold in winter, and many of the students had never spoken English with a real teacher before. At first, some children were too shy to answer questions in class. Lin did not give up. She used songs, games and simple stories to make her lessons lively, and soon her students began to enjoy English.
To know her students better, Lin visited their homes at weekends. She learned that some children's parents worked far away in big cities, so the children lived with their grandparents and walked more than an hour to school. Lin began to stay with them after class, helping with homework and listening to their worries.
Two years later, things have changed a lot. The students now speak English confidently, and several of them have won prizes in a city-wide competition.
