通过本课时的学习，学生能够： 在单元主题图的帮助下，通过跟读核心词汇、听对话（看视频）回答问题等活动，对单元主题形成初步感知。 在看、听、读、说的活动中理解故事情节，梳理博比、萨姆和威利关于游泳的安全行为和危险行为，认识安全行为的重要性，唤醒基本的安全警觉意识。 通过分角色表演等活动初步操练核心语言，学会在他人遇到危险时帮助他人。 以、听、读、找、说的方式掌握字母组合gr在great等单词中的发音。
教学内容
教学重点： 能正确朗读Lead-in板块核心词汇，并能准确判断安全与不安全的行为。 在活动中熟练使用本单元的核心语言谈论Willy游泳的故事。 能在观察、对比安全行为和危险行为的过程中，认识并理解安全行为的重要性，并能在他们遇到危险时给予帮助。 教学难点： 学生能综合运用核心语言丰富表达拓展Willy游泳的故事。 2. 学生能联系自身，在日常生活中提高安全警觉意识。
教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in Sing and think: 通过一首欢快的运动安全歌曲导入课时主题，让学生初步感受运动安全的重要性。 Look and say: 引导学生观察单元主题图，认读核心词汇。 Think and say : 通过引导学生观察主题图中其他学生的行为，巩固核心词汇。 Think and tick: 引导学生结合日常行为习惯，准确分清安全行为与不安全行为，提高安全警觉意识。 Chant and learn: 通过儿歌巩固核心词汇，再次感受运动安全的重要性。 Listen and think: 通过听一听，让学生辨析在学校不同场所可能产生的危险行为，并引发对Big Question的初次思考。 Step 2 Cartoon time Pre-reading （1）Look and say: 通过观察图1，了解故事人物与发生地点。 （2）Listen and say: 通过听一听，了解Willy想游泳的意图，并通过观察图片引出故事的主要情节。 2. While-reading （1）Read and think: 通过整体阅读，学生初步体会故事主题。 （2）Read and order: 通过学生自主阅读，图文匹配，迅速理清故事脉络完成读后活动A并校对。 （3）Read and learn: 精读故事，引导学生发现Willy的危险行为。 （4）Read and know: 通过对比阅读，初步了解运动安全的重要性，并尝试回答本课时的大问题：What should Willy do to keep safe 3.
