Ⅻ.根据所给材料,完成下列各题。(共40分)
(A)
Mastering a new knowledge point can take a lot of time, but what do you do if you need to learn something quickly With the help of expert Ted Dorsey, we’ve got a list of tips to help you learn things faster.
1. Take handwritten notes.
If you're in a class, listen carefully to the lecture and write down the key words and phrases you hear. Taking handwritten notes helps you remember information better the first time you learn it, so you don't have to review it over and over again in the future.
2. Say it out loud.
Oral repetition cuts down on learning and review time because the information is more ingrained(牢固的)in your brain the first time you learn it. If you’re studying from a book or your notes, read important keywords and sentences aloud to lock them into your memory.
3. Teach the information to others.
As you study the information yourself, try to think about how you would teach it to a friend. What key facts and examples would you include Research shows that studying information by teaching it to someone else helps you remember it better and recall it more easily.
4. Connect the information with something in your life.
“Find a way to make it apply to you,” suggests Dorsey. For example, if you’re reading a book in an English class, try relating something that has happened in your life. “The more you personalize the information you're learning, the more likely it's going to stick,” says Dorsey.

As technology becomes a part of our classrooms, students are using more digital devices(设备)to learn. But is this really the best way to learn
Research shows that paper notebooks are better than digital ones. Many studies have found that students who write notes by hand learn better than those who type. Writing by hand helps with understanding and remembering because it encourages students to rewrite and conclude what they hear. Kids who type are missing out on important learning experiences.
Japanese brain experts have also found that writing in a notebook gets many parts of the brain working, which helps with focus. Writing in a notebook can also make you feel good because it turns blank pages into something special and personal. Digital notes don't have the same feel.
For a long time, notebooks were very important in education. A way of taking notes called “commonplacing” changed how people learned. Even famous people like William Shakespeare and Isaac Newton used it. They filled their notebooks with great quotes(语录)from the things they read.
But in today's world, where we can find information so easily on the Internet, some people think that writing by hand is old-fashioned. However, using a pen and paper is still important, especially in school. Students should write more by hand and type less.

Starting Grade 9 can feel a bit hard. The study pace(节奏)is faster, and there are more things to do. But if you take small steps, you can get used to it quickly.
First, make a daily plan. Write down homework, review time, and breaks. This helps you finish tasks on time without rushing. For example, spend 30 minutes reviewing each subject after school. Planning stops last-minute stress.
Second, learn to deal with pressure. It’s normal to feel stressed out about exams or hard lessons. When you’re stressed, take 5-minute breaks to walk or listen to music. Talking to parents or friends also helps. Remember, pressure can push you to work harder, but don’t let it make you nervous.
Third, ask for help early. If you don't understand a lesson, talk to your teacher or classmates right away. Don't wait until you're lost. Many classmates face the same problems, and helping each other makes learning easier.
Finally, keep a healthy habit. Sleep 8 hours every night and eat healthy meals. A strong body helps you feel better in class. Even 15 minutes of exercise daily can give you more energy.
Grade 9 is a new start, not a big problem. With these tips, you’ll get used to the pace soon and do well in your studies.
