Once upon a time, there were four seeds(种子). They were good friends. They travelled by wind and came to a forest. They hid themselves in the ground, and hoped that they would be able to grow into big trees.
But when the first seed began to grow, they realized it wouldn't be such an easy thing. There lived a group of monkeys, and the smallest monkeys loved to throw bananas at any plant that started to grow. They threw so many bananas at the first seed that she was almost cut into two. Animals are people's good friends. Many people hope to talk with their pets in everyday life. This may sound too good to be true, but scientists are now using AI to help make this dream come true.
Karen Bakker, a teacher at the University of British Columbia in Canada, believes that AI will bring humans(人类) closer to the world of animals and plants in the future. "AI helps humans talk with bats and bees," Bakker said. How does it work
When bats talk with each other, scientists first record their sounds and input(输入) them into a computer. Then, they use AI to find out what the bats say and try to speak back to them. Humans cannot hear these sounds with their own ears, but AI makes it possible for us to understand and "speak" back to the bats by training a computer to "speak" like a bat.
Scientists also found an interesting fact: When baby bats start to learn to "speak", mother bats often lower(降低) their voices. However, human mothers often raise their voices during this time.
As for bees, scientists use a computer to both listen to and watch them in order to study their language. Scientists now know how bees send messages like "stop". They even made a robot bee that can talk with other bees.

Living near trees is good for our health in many ways. Acting as natural doctors, trees not only produce fresh oxygen and take in harmful gases, but also lower our stress. They are our true health protectors.

Scientists have also studied the healthy effects(影响) of trees on our minds. One effect of trees seems to be that they make people feel relaxed. Dear Henry,
How is everything going I like wild animals very much. I want to invite you to study my favourite animal with me.
My favourite wild animal is tigers. Some of them live in Northeast China. I like tigers because they are big and strong. They like to live alone. They can run fast, but only for a short while. They can swim and climb.
We can take some water when visiting them, because it takes hours to watch them. Don't forget to take a pair of binoculars to help us see them clearly.
Sadly, tigers are in danger. We can make some posters to let others know the importance of protecting them.
I will be very happy if you can join me. Look forward to seeing you soon.
Yours,
Li Hua

It is healthy to live around trees. Trees work as doctors and they keep us healthy.
Living near trees is good for our health in many ways. Acting as natural doctors, trees not only produce fresh oxygen and take in harmful gases, but also lower our stress. They are our true health protectors.
Many scientists have studied how trees clean the air. For people in large cities, trees can be very important for their health. These days, cities are planting trees not just in parks. They are also planting trees along streets in order to help clean the air.

Yours,
Li Hua
