Recently, I have read a famous book named Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White.
The story is about a pig named Wilbur and a spider named Charlotte. Wilbur, a lonely pig, lives on a farm and fears being killed for food. Charlotte, a spider living in the barn, decides to help him. She weaves words of praise about Wilbur on her web. With her help, Wilbur becomes safe. However, Charlotte gets old and weak, and finally dies.
I think the story is moving. Charlotte’s love and friendship help Wilbur find hope. She shows us that true friends will always be there for each other, even if it means giving up something important. This book teaches me the importance of friendship and kindness.
