How long should the school year be In traditional schools, children are in school over the fall and winter months for about 180 days, and then are out of school for months. In the 21st century, some schools started to move towards year-round schooling. Year-round schooling still has students in school for 180 days, but they aren't there continuously; for example, students are in school for 60 days and then out for 20 days. When students have two consecutive months off school, they don't always remember what they learn during the school year. Teachers refer to this as Summer Learning Loss. Summer Learning Loss doesn't only refer to the information that the students learned, but also to the study habits that they had. If students are always getting a few weeks off every few months, they will not become tired in school. Many teachers in traditional schools agree that short breaks help students feel energized and refreshed. In the adult world, most people don't work for nine months and then take three months off. This is often a hard adjustment for students to make when they go to work in the future. If a student goes to a year-round school, he or she is more used to working all over the year.
63. How does the writer start Paragraph 1
A. By telling stories. B. By giving examples.
C. By asking a question. D. By describing pictures.
64. What does the underlined word "adjustment" probably mean
A. Peace. B. Plan. C. Change. D. Job.
65. What can we infer from the text
A. Most rest can make students get into bad habits. B. Year-round schools have much longer holidays.
C. Students spend less money in year-round schools. D. Year-round schooling prepares students for real life.

In ancient China, during the Eastern Han Dynasty, there lived two close friends named Fan Shi and Zhang Shao. They studied together every day at the Imperial Academy and became the best of friends. One day, Fan Shi had to return to his hometown. Before leaving, he promised Zhang Shao, "Two years later, I will come to visit you and meet your family." They both remembered this special date, and then Fan Shi began his long journey home. Time passed quickly. Two years later, as the promised day grew near, Zhang Shao asked his mother to prepare a special meal of chicken and millet for his friend. His mother felt doubtful. "It has been two full years," she said. "How can you be sure he will travel such a long way to see you " But Zhang Shao answered with confidence, "Fan Shi always keeps his word. If he makes a promise, he will certainly fulfill it." Just as Zhang Shao believed, on that exact day, Fan Shi arrived at his door after his long journey. The two friends were very happy to see each other again. They happily shared the special meal and spent the day talking about everything that had happened during their time apart. This story teaches us an important lesson about friendship: keeping promises is very important. When we make a promise to others, we should always try our best to keep it, just as Fan Shi did. True friendship is built on trust and reliability.
66. Why did Zhang Shao's mother feel doubtful about preparing the meal
A. Because she didn't like Fan Shi. B. Because she thought the food was too expensive.

In recent years, AI has entered our classrooms. But is AI in the classroom a good thing People have different opinions. Some people think AI is very helpful. First, AI can give students more personalized learning. For example, if a student is weak in maths, AI can give him or her more maths exercises. If a student is good at English, AI can give him or her harder tasks. Second, AI can help teachers save time. Teachers can use AI to check students' homework quickly. Then they have more time to talk with students and help them with problems. However, others worry about the problems of AI in classrooms. First, they think students may depend too much on AI. For example, if AI does their homework, they won't think by themselves. Second, AI can never replace real teachers. A real teacher cares about students' feelings. They can encourage students when they are sad. Another problem is that not all schools have enough money for AI tools. Schools in poor areas may have fewer chances to use AI. This may make the gap between rich and poor schools even bigger. So, is AI in the classroom good or bad The answer is that it depends on how we use it. And it should never replace good teaching and real human interactions. After all, the most important thing in education is the relationship between teachers and students.

A. Why some people think AI is helpful in classrooms. B. How AI works in the classroom.

A. AI is too expensive for all schools. B. Students may depend too much on AI.
C. AI makes teachers lose their jobs. D. AI is not smart enough.
