一、单元写作目标
本单元围绕“Workplaces（工作场所）”展开。写作时，要能够介绍家人的职业和工作地点，说明自己在哪里学习，还要用完整句子介绍家庭成员之间的联系。
写作重点：职业与工作地点的搭配；Where do/does ... work ；at、on 的地点表达；He/She works ...；There are ... people in my family.
内容顺序：先总写家庭成员，再分写家人的职业和工作地点，最后补充自己的学校或学习地点。
表达目标：能写出 5—8 句意思连贯的短文，既写清楚“做什么工作”，又写清楚“在哪里工作”。
二、写作思路讲解
1. 先列出人物、职业和地点
动笔前可以先列三项信息：人物、职业、工作地点。例如：father—police officer—police station；mother—doctor—hospital；grandfather—farmer—farm。这样写作时不容易漏掉地点。
2. 用总分结构介绍家庭
开头总写：There are five people in my family. They have different jobs.
分写家人：My father is a police officer. He works at a police station.
补充自己：I study at No. 1 Primary School.
结尾感受：They all love their jobs. / I love my family.
3. 认真区分 at 和 on
多数工作地点前用 at：at a bank, at a hotel, at a company, at a hospital, at a police station, at a TV station。表示在农场工作时常用 on a farm；表示在家写书可以说 at home。
4. 注意 do 和 does 的变化
询问自己或对方在哪里工作，用 Where do you work ；询问第三人称单数，用 Where does your father work 回答时，he、she 后面的 work 要加 s：He works at a company. She works at a TV station.
5. 让职业和地点相互照应
不要只写 My mother is a doctor. 可以继续写 She works at a hospital. 如果还能补充工作内容，文章会更具体：She helps lots of sick people.
6. 写完后检查三件事
每个人的职业和工作地点是否匹配。
where 问句中的 do/does 是否正确，回答中的 work/works 是否正确。
at a bank、at a hospital、on a farm 等地点搭配是否准确。

讲解：开头先说明家庭人数和职业特点，再分别介绍爸爸、妈妈的职业和地点。第五句写自己的学习地点，使内容与题目相互照应。最后用 and 连接努力和感受，短文结构完整。
可积累：写家庭类短文时，可以用 There are ... people in my family. 开头，用 They all ... 结尾，文章会更有整体性。

写作提醒：拓展作文要把“谁、做什么、在哪里做、做什么事情”写完整，不要只堆砌地点名称。
