In recent years, China’s rural revitalization (乡村振兴) has achieved amazing results. Remote villages that were once unknown have become popular. They were not convenient before. The changes cover environment, economy and public services.
Environment improvement is the most obvious change. To stop sandstorms and soil loss, villagers plant many drought-resistant (耐旱的) bushes and trees. The sandy wasteland has turned into green fields. Clean rivers and fresh air have become typical features of new countryside.
Economic development brings real advantages (好处) to villagers. Traditional farming depends on weather and manpower, while modern smart farming uses high-tech greenhouses, automatic watering systems and digital monitoring. Farmers can grow different fruits and vegetables in different seasons.
Besides, public services are also improving. Schools, hospitals and libraries are built in rural areas. Jane Goodall is one of the world’s most famous animal scientists.
Born in England in 1934, Jane began to show a great interest in animals when she was a little girl. She loved to watch animals and read stories about them. This love went on and led her to go to Africa to study chimpanzees (黑猩猩) at the age of 26. In Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania, she did some things, such as sitting quietly and watching chimpanzees day after day.
Jane discovered that chimpanzees were smart. They could use sticks as tools. They could also show feelings as humans. They hugged when they were happy, comforted (安慰) each other when sad, and even cried for losing their loved ones. Then she solved another big mystery—whether chimpanzees were strict vegetarians (素食者) or not. She followed them for months, and one day saw them eating meat from a dead animal. The Feynman Technique (费曼学习法) was created by a famous physicist named Richard Feynman. It is a way of studying that helps students learn by teaching someone else. This method helps you truly understand a topic, not just remember facts. Unlike simply reading textbooks again and again, it makes you take an active part in learning. If you want to try the Feynman Technique, here’s how to do it:
Step 1, choose one topic you want to learn. It’s better to focus on one thing at a time. If you try to learn too many things, you may not understand any of them well.
Step 2, try to explain the topic in simple words, as if you were teaching a primary school student. Use easy language and examples. This step helps you break down big ideas into small parts.
Step 3, look back at your explanation. See if there is any part that is still difficult or unclear. It can be useful to ask a friend or family member to listen and tell you what they don’t understand.
Step 4, improve your explanation based on what you found in Step 3. Make everything as clear as possible.
Step 5, repeat all the steps. Doing it once is often not enough. The more you repeat, the better you will understand.
When you feel you’ve learned the topic well, don’t forget to reward yourself. You can eat something you like, listen to music, or just relax!
36.What is the main advantage of the Feynman Technique
A.It helps students read textbooks faster.
B.It makes students remember facts easily.
C.It helps students truly understand a topic.
D.It allows students to learn without teachers.
37.In Step 2, who do you imagine teaching when you explain the topic
A.A high school student. B.A famous scientist.
C.A 10-year-old girl. D.A family member.
38.Which of the following is the correct order for the Feynman Technique
①Pick a topic to learn. ②Improve the weak areas.
③Explain it in the simplest words. ④Repeat the steps until you really learn it.
⑤Find the “imperfect part” of your explanation.
A.①-③-⑤-②-④ B.①-⑤-②-③-④ C.⑤-②-①-③-④ D.③-⑤-②-④-①
39.What does the underlined word “reward” mean in the last paragraph
A.To forget something. B.To give oneself a prize.
C.To repeat the steps again. D.To find a difficult part.
40.What is the main idea of the passage

Most people know that Marie Curie was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize. However, few people know that she was also the mother of a Nobel Prize winner.
Born in 1897, Irène Curie was the first of the Curies’ two daughters. Along with nine other children whose parents were also famous educators, Irène studied in their own school, and her mother was one of the teachers. She finished her high school education at the College of Sévigné in Paris. Irène entered the University of Paris in 1914 to prepare for a degree in maths and physics. When World War I began, Irène went to help her mother, who was using X-ray equipment to help save the lives of injured soldiers. Irène continued the work in many hospitals in France. Her services were awarded by the French government.
In 1918, Irène became her mother’s assistant at the Curie Institute. In December 1924, Frédéric Joliot joined the Institute, and Irène taught him the skills required for his work. They soon fell in love and were married in 1926. Their daughter Helene was born in 1927 and their son Pierre five years later. Like her mother, she could make a good balance between family and work. Like her mother, Irène was awarded a Nobel Prize, along with her husband in 1935. Unfortunately, also like her mother, she got sick because of her work with radioactivity. 根据文章第一段“This method helps you truly understand a topic, not just remember facts.”
根据文章第三段“try to explain the topic in simple words, as if you were teaching a primary school student”可知,在第二步中,当你解释这个话题时试着想象对方是一个小学生,C选项“A 10-year-old girl.”
根据文章第二段到第六段“Step 1, choose one topic you want to learn...Step 2, try to explain the topic in simple words...Step 3, look back at your explanation...Step 4, improve your explanation based on what you found in Step 3...Step 5, repeat all the steps.”
根据文章最后一段“When you feel you’ve learned the topic well, don’t forget to reward yourself. You can eat something you like, listen to music, or just relax!”

根据“I often ____ new words with my partner”可知,该句为一般现在时,主语是I,需用动词原形作谓语,表示“讨论”。
“a good way to ____ the key information”中,不定式后需用动词原形,表示“记住”。
“write down the ____ expressions”中,需用形容词修饰“expressions”,表示“有用的”。

56.used 57.what 58.methods 59.to create 60.Instead 61.images 62.divide 63.until 64.himself 65.panic
used to do sth.
此处为固定结构:疑问词+to do,因此填不定式to create。
divide… into…
have confidence in oneself 意为“对自己有信心”;he的反身代词是himself。

第一段开头明确指出“Marie Curie was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize”,因此答案是原文直接信息,提取人名即可。
67.第二段提到“She finished her high school education at the College of Sévigné in Paris”,直接提取地点信息即可。
68.最后一段明确指出“she got sick because of her work with radioactivity”,原因在原文中有直接表述,提取即可。
70.“Like her mother, she could make a good balance between family and work.” “Like her mother”译为“像她的母亲一样”,介词短语作方式状语放在句首;“she”译为“她”;“could”译为“能”,是情态动词can的过去式;“make a good balance”译为“很好地保持平衡”,是固定搭配表达;“between...and...”
