Upcycling means reusing old things in a creative way.
The speaker uses “Upcycling is ...” to give the definition.

e.g. We can use OUR creativity to give old things a second

B: First, make very small holes in the bottom of an old shoe. Then, put stones and soil in it. Finally, plant the flower. It’s simple. And it’s cheaper than buying a new pot.
