表“迷路，走失”。例如：

我在来这儿的路上迷路了，不得不向警察求助。

② (be) out of danger, 表示“脱离危险”。例如：
The doctors say he’s now out of danger.
大夫们说现在他脱离了危险。

cut down “砍倒，减少，降低，缩短” , down是副词, 构成动副短语,代词宾语放中间。

小男孩用斧子砍倒了小树。
e.g. The doctor told me to cut down smoking .
医生告诉我减少吸烟。

8. We must save the trees and not buy things made of ivory. 我们必须拯救树木，拒买象牙制品。
（be）made of … 表示“由……制作(制造)” 。
e.g. be made of wood 由木头制成的
be made of glass 由玻璃制成的
当made of… 作定语限定修饰名词时，必须放在该名词之后。语法将其称作“后置定语”。例如：
e.g. a boat made of paper 一条纸叠的小船
things made of bamboo 竹制品；竹子做的东西
