table:是桌子的统称，可以指各种形状、各种用途的桌子。主要是指吃饭、娱乐、游戏等用的“餐桌”、“茶几”等，一般没有抽屉，而且配多把椅子。
desk:多指学习、办公用的桌子，并且有抽屉。比如我们常说的“写字台”、“课桌”等都用desk。并且desk通常只有一把椅子。
