I think kids should not do chores because they should spend their time on schoolwork to get good grades and get into a good university.
I disagree. because It is not enough to just get good grades at school. Our neighbor's son got into a good college, but he had no idea how to look after himself. as a result, he often fall ill,and his grades dropped.
And because of that, kids these days depend on their parents too much. when they get older, They don't have the ability to take care of themselves, unable to live on their own.
Besides, they already have enough stress from school. They do not have time to do housework. When they get older, they will have to do housework, so there is no need
for them to do it now.
I also think it is the parents’ job to provide
a clean and comfortable environment at home for their children.

近日一位妈妈在朋友圈分享了自己十岁的女儿为自己及家人做饭的动态。这个动态是她的女儿放学之后独自一人去菜市场买了菜和肉，之后回家。到家之后，开始为他们准备晚餐，她一个人在厨房忙碌着，小小的身影在各个分好类的菜架与燃气灶之间不断移动，由于个子不太高，够不到燃气灶，于是她搬了一个小凳子自己踩在上面来炒菜，她认真的样子就像一个大人。

最终,这个小女孩儿为她的父母做了热腾腾的饭。这位母亲很开心,看到自己的女儿那么懂事,那么棒,于是分享了她的感受,这个动态发出之后产生了巨大的影响。一些评论都是说自己的孩子什么都不会做,一切都是他们来做,很羡慕这位妈妈有这样优秀的女儿。许多人会想他们家的条件是不是有些差,所以导致这个孩子还很小就学会了做饭,但实际,这个小女孩的父母都是中医院的医生而且她还是家里唯一的孩子。

还有很多很多这样的例子，甚至有一项研究表明，从小被要求帮助父母的孩子在长大之后的就业成功的几率要比不被要求帮助父母的孩子多15倍，而不被要求帮助父母的孩子的犯罪几率也比被要求帮助父母的孩子犯罪率多10倍。

综上所述，在孩子们不断长大的过程中，父母在生活方面对孩子们的要求会直接影响孩子们长大之后的发展。让孩子自己动手去帮助父母做一些事情，会让孩子们知道，在遇到事情的时候，要自己想办法解决，而不是的向别人寻求帮助，这样孩子们会更加的独立。反之，如果父母太过于宠爱孩子，完全不让孩子过早的受到生活的一些打磨，那么在他们以后的成长过程中一定会充满崎岖与坎坷，因为他们从来没有经历过，他们缺乏经验，必定会需要不断的失败。

I think it is important for children to learn how to do chores and help their
parents with housework. It is not enough to just get good grades at school. Children these days depend on their parents too much.They are always

Doing chores helps to develop children's independence and teaches them

Nowadays many students say they are too busy with their study and they don't have time to help their parents with the housework. I don't think they are true, that’s all excuses.
In my opinion, doing some housework such as washing our own clothes and making the bed is our own responsibility. It can also make us independent. We can't depend on our parents all our life. At the same time, Sharing the housework is helpful for us to set up a good relationship with our parents. I think trying to do some housework can also keep us healthy and strong, some hard housework can be regarded as a kind of physical exercise. And we can take care of ourselves better when we grow up. On weekdays, I often help my parents clean my bed rooms every morning and wash dishes after super. At weekends, washing clothes and moping the floor are my duties. And I also help my parents carry something heavy from the supermarket.
