April Fools’ Day is the first day of April. In most Western countries，people like to play jokes on each other . When you play a joke on somebody，you laugh and they laugh，too. But don’t play jokes that make other people sad or mad. April Fools’ Day is meant to be fun for everyone.

My favourite holiday is April Fools’ Day. It’s on April 1 every year. It’s celebrated in most western countries.
Now, Many people around the world like to play a joke on someone. But don’t play jokes that make others sad or angry, because it may hurt others. April Fools’ Day is fun for everyone.
Last March, my mother told my father and me that my grandfather would come in April. We were very happy because my grandfather was an interesting old man and he had not visited us since he went to Hong Kong.
　　 On April 1 my father and I bought a lot of food from the supermarket and bought a big bunch of flowers home. Then we did some cleaning at home. At night when we were waiting for my grandfather, the bell rang and in came my mother. She smiled to us and said "April fools"!
