Chapter 6 Poems about life词汇课教学反思

今天我讲授的内容是牛津深圳版7B Chapter 6 Poems about life生词表中的重点词汇20个:speaker,dull,uninteresting,terribly,patient(be patient with sb),slam,similar(be similar to),lively,bored,cheerful,fair,generous,concern,stone deaf,racket,feel like(feel like doing sth),mile,ring,proud(be proud of sb.)。通过本节课的学习实现让学生学会拼读这些生词,掌握这些生词的中、英文解释并学会简单运用,学会科学记忆单词,同时通过课堂上强化、快速记忆训练,使学生尽量多地记住这些生词的教学目标。围绕这样一个教学目标要达到的教学效果是课前要求学生自己拼读单词,做好预习工作。在课堂中,让90%以上的学生会读单词;80%以上的学生能够掌握这20个单词的中文及英文解释,并会简单运用这些单词。
以下是上课的基本流程:
第一,导入:在情境中引出生词。用最近深受同学们欢迎的歌手Justin Bieber的家庭介绍吸引同学们的注意和好奇心,在文章情境中引出生词,在新词汇出现时,带读并结合图片进行英文解释并造句运用。注意让学生真正进入设计的情景。
第2, 总结并带读生词。再次通过课件呈现刚才在阅读文章中出现的单词,老师带读单词。
第3, 快速记忆单词。给4分钟让学生小组内部合作,小组长教读,组员互帮互助,进行自由读和拼写,有问题可以举手找老师帮忙教读。4分钟后,全班同学一起大声齐背单词,并背出单词拼写。教师检查学生的读音,必要时给予纠正。
第4, 运用练习。1. 翻到课本P85,跟随磁带再次巩固所有单词,加深印象,为即将到来的激烈比赛做好热身准备。2. Who is the memory king 做一个读背单词比赛游戏,快速反应。老师用闪现的形式给出单词或其中文意思,闪现的速度非常快,刺激学生快速反应,先反映出来的学生可以马上举手回答,回答正确者可以为小组赢得分数。(分组加分)3. 小组竞赛:抽选自己喜欢的 Hello Kitty完成题目竞赛. 12个小组派代表上讲台来抽取老师手上的信封。每个信封标有Hello Kitty号码,信封内装有题目。每个抽到的号码意味着即将要做的题目内容和回答的先后顺序。给学生4分钟时间,小组内部讨论,完成题目,确定最终的正确答案。先完成的小组可以自由上讲台将翻译造句部分的答案写在黑板上。这个部分精心挑选20个重点词汇里面的部分单词进行用法上的深入剖析。使学生学以致用。通过首字母填出生词,再仿照例句,或汉译英,或用英语释义,或辩词填空等,让学生在学以致用的基础上再次升华拓展,达到完全掌握。
第5, 总结。评出今天比赛的小组得分,意在激发学生热情,至始至终督促他们将积极参与学习和竞赛的热情保持下去。
第6, Homework.布置家庭作业,巩固今天学习的内容,并为接下来的阅读课型做好铺垫。
通过教授本课,我觉得本课的成功之处在于:
第一,巧妙导入单词情境,激起学生的学习兴趣。围绕学生感兴趣的歌手Justin Bieber的自我家庭介绍,让学生在好奇中学完本单元要掌握的20个重点词汇。将枯燥的单词学习变得有趣和有吸引力。
第二,课堂内容安排合理,内容设计由听说读写四个方面来体现,课堂练习由简入难,层层深入。达到了让大部分学生学习单词,快速记忆单词并运用单词的教学任务,实现了教学目标。
第三,小组合作,竞争比赛。学习背诵单词环节和运用巩固环节都采取小组合作的形式。让学生教学生,充分发挥学生的主体性,也培养了集体荣誉感和合作竞争意识,让更多层次的学生都参与到课堂的学习中,大家共同进步,学有所获。
第四,衔接初三英语口语考试,从初一起就灌输英语口语和英语思维。在英语课堂组织教学中,我使用了全英语教学,做到了课堂英语化,尽量避免了用母语进行教学,以排除对母语的依赖和干扰,这也为学生培养语感打下基础。
本节课的不足之处在于:
第一,在最后一个小组竞赛环节,我应该在课件中也标注好题号,这样学生上黑板写了答案,在评讲时就不至于老找不到学生将答案写在哪里,而浪费时间,影响评讲进度。
第二,小组记分方式上应该做点改进。应课前给每个小组做个号码牌放在桌上,这样就不用每次回答问题后,老问是哪个小组或者找半天,从而影响教学时间,使得最后一个拓展运用环节讲得比较急。
