B
For
21-year-old
Malhar
Kalambe,
weekends
are
not
about
hanging
out
with
friends.
Instead,
they
have
a
different
mission

cleaning
the
Datar
Beach.
Collectively,
they
have
made
such
a
huge
difference
to
the
beach
that
the
United
Nations
has
recognized
their
contributions.
“Actually
the
idea
stemmed
from
my
vacation
to
Bali,
the
clean
beach
leaving
a
great
impression
on
me.
After
returning,
I
found
our
beaches
in
shambles.
During
a
conversation
with
my
mother,
I
was
complaining
about
how
bad
our
beaches
are
compared
to
beaches
in
Bali,
and
my
mother
just
said,
'Don't
complain,
if
you
care,
just
go
and
clean.
?
and
thus
'Beach
Please',"
Malhar
said.
“It
began
on
September
10,
2017
and
since
then
cleaning
the
garbage
on
the
beach
has
become
a
weekend
routine.
Currently,
there
are
25
odd
volunteers
spending
our
weekends
cleaning
the
beach.”
After
cleaning
the
beach
for
months,
Malhar
and
his
friends
realized
that
it
was
of
a
little
help
and
there
is
no
end
to
this.
They
needed
to
contain
the
source
which
dumps
garbage
in
the
ocean.
They
found
that
the
Mithi
River
is
being
used
to
dump
the
industrial
waste,
construction
waste
and
even
domestic
waste
into
the
ocean
and
they
decided
to
also
clean
the
river.
Now
on
Saturday,
they
clean
the
Mithi
River
and
on
Sunday,
they
focus
on
the
Datar
Beach.
In
order
to
make
a
sustainable
(可持续的)difference,
they
must
make
people
understand
that
they
have
to
stop
dumping
garbage
into
any
source.
“Awareness,
recycling
and
cleaning
up
are
three
steps
which
can
bring
a
change.
I
hope
people
realize
it's
their
duty
to
keep
their
surroundings
as
well
as
the
ocean
clean,“
Malhar
added.

If
you
are
one
of
those
who
think
exercise
is
a
waste
of
time
and
of
no
benefit
at
all
to
the
body,
you
might
have
to
have
a
rethink.
Regular
physical
activity
can
help
protect
from
some
health
problems.
For
instance,
exercise
controls
weight.
For
the
obese
(肥胖的),exercise
is
very
important
as
it
helps
reduce
body
fat
by
building
or
preserving
muscle
mass
and
improving
the
body's
ability
to
use
calories.
When
you
engage
in
physical
activity,
you
burn
calories.
The
more
intense
the
activity
is,
the
more
calories
you
burn.
When
exercise
is
combined
with
proper
nutrition,
it
can
help
control
weight
and
prevent
obesity,
a
major
risk
factor
for
many
diseases.
Besides
workouts
at
the
gym,
your
body
can
benefit
from
other
forms
of
exercise
such
as
jogging,
fast
walking,
running,
playing
games.
Regular
physical
activity
can
improve
your
mood
and
the
way
you
feel
about
yourself.
Need
an
emotional
lift
or
need
to
blow
off
some
steam
after
a
stressful
day?
A
workout
at
the
gym
or
a
quick
30-minute
walk
can
help.
Exercise
stimulates
various
brain
chemicals
that
may
leave
you
feeling
happier
and
more
relaxed.
You
may
also
feel
better
about
your
appearance
and
yourself
when
you
exercise
regularly,
which
can
boost
your
confidence
and
improve
your
self-esteem.
Exercise
gives
you
a
chance
to
enjoy
the
outdoors
or
simply
engage
in
activities
that
make
you
happy.
Regular
physical
activity
is
a
great
way
to
feel
better,
gain
health
benefits
and
have
fun.
As
a
general
goal,
aim
for
at
least
30
minutes
of
physical
activity
every
day.
If
you
want
to
lose
weight
or
meet
specific
fitness
goals,
you
may
need
to
exercise
more.
Remember
to
check
with
your
doctor
before
starting
a
new
exercise
program,
especially
if
you
haven't
exercised
for
a
long
time,
have
chronic
health
problems,
or
you
have
any
concerns.
28.
How
does
exercise
help
the
overweight
people?
A.
It
reduces
their
appetite.
B.
It
works
muscles
and
burns
calories.
C.
It
contributes
to
absorbing
proper
nutrition.
D.
It
contains
a
wide
range
of
forms
functioning
differently.
29.
What
can
be
inferred
from
paragraph
3?
A.
Exercise
is
likely
to
reduce
depression.
B.
Outdoor
activities
benefit
people's
appearance.
C.
A
30-minute
walk
every
day
can
help
lose
weight.
D.
Exercise
can
create
some
relaxing
brain
chemicals.
30.
What's
the
author's
suggestion
for
someone
trying
a
new
exercise
project?
A.
Getting
the
doctor's
opinions.
B.
Setting
some
fitness
goals.
C.
Clearing
up
the
concerns.
D.
Having
a
medical
checkup.
31.
Which
of
the
following
opinions
will
the
author
favour?
A.
Exercise
can
consume
too
much
time.
B.
Nutrition
and
exercise
are
equally
important.
C.
You
can
benefit
more
from
outdoor
activities.
D.
Regular
exercise
can
improve
one's
overall
quality
of
life.
D
In
one
of
my
favorite
studies
on
the
meaning
of
life,
researchers
asked
a
group
of
students
to
write
about
their
“true
self”.
Another
group
of
students
were
asked
to
write
about
their
“everyday
self"
and
a
third
group
of
students
were
asked
to
write
about
the
campus
bookstore.
After
the
writing
task,
the
students
were
then
asked
to
rate
their
meaning
of
life.
The
researchers
were
interested
in
how
much
detail
the
participants
provided
in
their
various
essays.
Their
assumption
(设想)is
that
the
more
detailed
description
one
provides
about
one's
true
self,
the
more
likely
one
authentically
(真实地)connects
with
that
sense
of
self.
Not
surprisingly,
for
those
writing
about
their
everyday
selves
or
about
the
campus
bookstore,
the
amount
of
detail
didn't
have
any
connection
with
their
sense
of
meaning
of
life.
However,
when
people
wrote
about
their
true
selves,
the
more
detailed
the
essay
was,
the
more
the
person
was
exposed
to
the
meaning
of
life.
To
live
a
meaningful
life,
then,
make
sure
you
are
in
touch
with
yourself.
If
you
don't
follow
your
own
values
and
dreams,
you
are
most
probably
following
values
set
by
others.
And
there
is
nothing
more
disappointing
in
life
than
living
someone
else's
dream.
As
some
wise-cracker
has
put
it,
it
is
better
to
be
yourself,
as
everyone
else
is
already
taken.
Meaningfulness
is
about
connection.
While
this
means
that
a
major
part
of
the
meaningfulness
in
our
lives
comes
from
connecting
with
others
through
intimate,
caring
relationships
and
through
being
able
to
contribute
to
society
and
those
one
cares
about,
you
cannot
connect
with
others
unless
you
are
first
in
touch
with
yourself.
Otherwise
it
is
not
you
who
are
connecting
to
others
but
just
an
empty
shell.
Only
by
knowing
what
you
are,
can
you
start
to
authentically
connect
with
others.
So,set
out
to
write
about
your
true
self
and
who
you
believe
you
really
are
as
a
person,
what
are
your
most
important
values,
and
what
you
yourself
would
like
to
pursue
and
have
in
life.
Then
figure
out
how
you
could
make
that
“true
self”
more
the
self
that
is
realized
in
your
everyday
life
and
work.

根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。选项中有两项为多余选项。
Born
after
1996
on
the
heels
of
the
millennials
(千禧一代),Generation
Z
(Gen
Z)
is
just
entering
the
workforce.
Its
members
are
the
first
true
digital
natives,
and
their
ability
to
adapt
to
an
automating
workplace
will
likely
determine
their
success.
"Soft”
skills
such
as
intellectual
insight,
flexibility
and
creativity
will
be
essential
for
workers
to
compete
with
machines
that
are
growing
more
technically
skilled.
36
Be
an
effective
strategic
communicator.
Some
employers
fear
that
digital
native
workers
might
be
too
much
like
the
robots
they
are
competing
with.
37
It's
good
communication
skills
that
make
them
noticeable.
Those
in
technology
fields
often
work
remotely
or
in
relative
isolation,
so
they
do
not
always
get
enough
time
to
sharpen
their
interpersonal
skills.
However,
Gen
Z
should
not
ignore
the
importance
of
relationship
building,
listening,
communicating
and
teamwork.
38
While
most
of
Gen
Z
is
still
in
school,
they
already
need
to
think
about
how
to
continually
adapt
to
a
fast-changing
world.
To
succeed,
they
must
be
realistic
about
their
skills
and
how
desired
skill
sets
will
change.
For
example,
graduates
might
be
trained
in
Microsoft
Excel,
but
a
job
might
require
them
to
learn
how
to
interpret
that
data.
39
Nearly
half
of
the
Gen
Z
said
they
had
experienced
job
burnout
in
the
past
year,
according
to
a
survey.
40
Workers
are
at
their
best
when
doing
something
meaningful
to
them,
said
Obed
Louissaint,
vice
president
of
talent
at
IBM.
To
avoid
burnout,
young
people
should
couple
finding
purpose
with
taking
proper
mental
breaks
and
trying
to
build
healthy
habits,
Louissaint
added.
A.
Be
a
continuous
learner.
B.
Try
to
bring
life
to
your
office.
C.
What
will
make
Gen
Z
workers
stand
out?
D.
Find
work
that
gives
you
a
sense
of
purpose.
E.
More
industry
knowledge
also
equals
more
money.
F.
Here
are
the
“soft”
skills
Gen
Z
members
need
to
succeed.
G.
Half
said
they
were
considering
a
job
outside
their
current
industry
because
of
it.
