—What are you doing, Peter? 你正在做什么，彼得？
—I’m reading the map. 我正在看地图。
“ What+be 动词（ am/is/are ） + 主语 + 现在分词（ + 其他）?”是现在进行时的特殊疑问句形式，用于询问某人正在做什么事情。可用句型“主语 +be 动词（ am/is/are ） + 现在分词（ + 其他） . ”来进行回答。
例：
— What is Sam doing? 萨姆正在做什么？
— He is playing baseball. 他正在打棒球。

“ It says... ”意为“……说……”，多用于表示标志、指示牌、通知等物体上的内容， says 后面用逗号。
例：

(1) like 在此处用作介词，后跟名词或代词作宾语，意为“像……；跟……一样”。

(2) like 也可以用作动词，意为“喜欢，喜爱”，常见的用法有 like doing sth. （着重习惯、爱好）和 like to do sth.（着重于某次具体的行为或动作）。
