二．教学目标
1.能听，说，读，写短语light the candles, sing a song, make a wish, blow out the candles，cut the cake, eat the cake.
2.能听，说，读并能在日常生活中运用。
3.能较熟练地使用祈使句表达自己的建议和要求。
4.培养学生与他人和睦交往的能力，培养学生对他人的关爱之心。
三．教学重难点
1.短语light the candles, sing a song, make a wish, blow out the candles，cut the cake, eat the cake的正确认读。
2.熟练地表达与生日庆祝相关的话语。

Stage 1
师生常规问候。
Sing a song.
Stage 2
Work in pairs.
复习学过的与生日有关的单词短语：a birthday cake, candle, present, card.
Talk about the pictures.(课件展示图片）
自由讨论：When is your birthday?
How old are you?
How do you celebrate your birthday?
4.创设情景，教学短语light the candles, sing a song, make a wish, blow out the candles.
T: Boys and girls, what is she doing?(课件展示图片)
Ps: 点蜡烛
T: Yes, she is lighting the candles. Now please read after me, light the candles, light the candles.
Ps:Light the candles, light the candles.

可用同样的方法教学 ：sing a song, make a wish, blow out the candles.
5.教学cut the cake和eat the cake
T：Class,what’s this?
Ps: A cake.(课件展示图片）
T: What kind of cake?
Ps: A birthday cake.
T: Good! When we have a birthday party,we’ll eat a birthday cake.
Look! What am I doing?(做“切蛋糕”的动作）
Ps:切蛋糕.
T: Cut ,cut the cake. What about this action?(做“吃”的动作）
Ps: Eat the cake.
通过韵律诗巩固词组
Cake, cake, birthday cake.
Cake, cake, cut the cake.
Cake, cake, eat the cake.
Cake, cake, yummy cake.

6.通过游戏巩固所学词组。
小组活动：一人说，其他人做动作。
双人活动: 一人说，另一人做动作。
Stage 3
Let’s learn: light the candles, sing a song, make a wish, blow out the candles
这四个词组的教学可结合上面的练习同时进行。
Stage 4
Look, match and say.
1.复习本课所学单词和词组。
2.学生按要求完成练习。
3.核对答案，检测并反思。
Stage 5
Play a game.
教师可引导学生复习游戏“Left and right”.

Left, left, left. Right, right,right.
2.将一幅没有尾巴的驴的挂图挂在黑板上，邀请几名学生到黑板前来贴尾巴。
3.一个学生蒙着眼睛在贴尾巴的过程中，可以由其他学生为他指点方向，以训练方位词left, right, up, down.
4.游戏结束后教师进行总结：不同的国家在庆祝生日，会玩各种不同的游戏。

小结本课。
T: Boys and girls, today we have learned the way to celebrate birthday. Do you still remember them?

教师带领学生回忆本课所学内容。
布置作业。
