few是“几乎没有”表否定

pity n.遗憾

(单独使用放在句末，若放句中前后有逗号）

1.less是little 的比较级“更少的”
2.less than … 　少于
3.one and a half 一个半
注意：1.5>1 后面名词用复数

1.be enough for sb. 对某人来说…足够了

2. ...adj.+enough to do sth.
...足够...的,可以…

3.not… enough… to do … 可与too…to…互换

没有人称和数格的变化，疑问句式是把would提前，它相当于want, 但比want 口气委婉
I'd like a cup of tea.=I want a cup of tea.
He'd like to go home.=He wants to go home.

2.May I … 我可以… 吗？　
表示请求
Have a biscuit instead.
1.have a biscuit
吃一块饼干
2.instead adv. 替代
She didn't have bread, instead, she had biscuits.

3.instead of 代替，而不是
She would like a computer instead of a piano.

more是副词，修饰eat, 是much 的 比较级
2.smoke less 少抽点
