Exercise:
In order to inspire the students to take part in social activities, our school organized a trip to Lanling Farm on 10 July.
When arriving there, we were given a warm welcome by the local people. First, the workers instructed us to plant vegetables and showed us how to do the weeding. Then in a large hall, a professor gave us a talk on modern scientific farming. After that, we had a heated discussion with some experts about eco-agriculture to get a further understanding about green agriculture.
Unquestionably, we can not only acquire a good knowledge of farming, but also enrich our school life through this visit. We all consider it meaningful and necessary for us to participate in such social activities.
