2. 介绍出生: 介绍出生的时间、地点和家境用分词结构, 使文章更简洁。如：
⑴姚明于1980年出生在上海，是一位世界著名的篮球运动员。
Yao Ming, born in Shanghai in 1980 (定语), is a world famous basketball player.
例句仿写：

3. 描写外貌: 巧用with短语。如：
My Chinese teacher is a beautiful lady, with long hair and big eyes (她长着两只大眼睛, 留着长发).
例句仿写：
我的老板是一位有着黑色的头发，一双大眼睛的英俊年轻人。
My boss is a handsome young man, with black hair and big eyes.
4. 生平事迹： 尽量用复合句、并列句、非谓语动词短语和倒装等高级语句。如：
⑴ In his life, he got many honours， one of which is the 2005 CCTV Moving China Award.在他的一生中，他获得了许多荣誉，其中包括获得“2005年感动中国年度人物”的称号。(定语从句)
例句仿写: Joan Goodall 在猩猩的自然环境中研究猩猩，这让她更多地理解了猩猩的行为。

⑵ In 2006, having broken the world record and got the gold medal(在他打破世界纪录并获得金牌之后), he became the idol(偶像） of the youth.(分词短语做时间状语)
例句仿写：

Satisfied with the his life, he cares little about his fame and wealth.
⑶ Not only does he show interest in science, but also he has a gift for music.
他不但对科学极感兴趣，而且他还有音乐天赋。(倒装句式)
例句仿写：
他不仅专注自己的研究，而且关心社会福利事业。
Not only is he devoted to his research, but also he concerns himself with the welfare project.
写成长经历请按时间顺序。如when he was a small boy， at (the age of) five， in 2006， a year later等。
名师指津：
5. 评价: 尽量运用短语。如：
Lei Feng set a good example to us (给我们树立了一个良好的榜样), so all the people show great respect for /to him (很敬重他).

(一) 假如你是李华，你的朋友Tom想了解中国科学家钱学森，请根据以下内容给他写封信。
1. 1911年出生于上海，1935年赴美留学，冯·卡门（Von Karman）高度赞誉他；
2. 1938年在美国获航空、数学博士学位；
3. 1958年起献身于中国航空航天研究，为新中国的航天事业做出巨大的贡献，被誉为“新中国航天之父”；
4. 2009年在北京去世。

In 1938, he obtained his doctor’s degree in aerospace science and mathematics in America. Since 1958, he had been devoted to aerospace science and made great contributions to the cause of New China’s aerospace. In 2009, he passed away in Beijing.
