decide to do sth.决定去做某事,否定形式为decide not to do sth.。decide后只能接不定式,不可接动名词。【拓展】 decide相关结构:decide +that从句; decide +疑问词+不定式
eg:They decided to decline the invitation.他们决定谢绝邀请。
He decided not to go there.他决定不去那儿了。
I can’t decide what to do.我不能决定做什么才好。
each在句中对we进行限定,表示“(两个或两个以上的人或物种)各自;每个”。
句中no longer的意思是“不再;不复”,通常位于实义动词之前,助动词、情态动词或系动词之后。 它与not …any longer或not … any more同义。
eg:我们每人各有一辆公司的汽车。
We each have a company car.
He no longer lives here. (= He doesn’t live here anymore / any longer.) 他不再住这儿了。
She is no longer a child. = She isn’t a child any longer / any more.她不再是个孩子了。
3.…, although she also felt sad to part with certain toys. 尽管和某些玩具分手也让她感到悲伤。
1) although和though可以互换使用。只是though较普遍,常用于非正式的口语或书面语中,而although则较为正式。
2) part with 放弃、 交出(尤指不舍得的东西)
3) certain adj. 意为“某种;某事;某人”。
eg:I love my dog and I would never part with him.我爱我的狗,决不愿和它分离。
He decided to sell his certain books.
他决定卖掉他的某些书籍。
4.As for me, I did not want to give up my football shirts, but, to be honest, I have not played for a while now.
as for意为“至于,就……而言,涉及,提到(某人
某事)”,通常位于句首,引出下面的话题,as for后接名词/代词/动名词。
eg: As for homework,most students do it every day.至于说家庭作业,大多数学生每天都做。
And as for us, we are fortunate.

honest 为形容词, 意为“诚实的; 老实
的”。反义词为dishonest “不诚实的”。
to be honest意为“说实在的, 说实话”, 等同于honestly。经常单独使用, 作插入语, 用逗号与句子隔开。类似的表达还有to tell the truth “老实说, 说实话”。英语中类似的表达还有:to be frank 坦率地说
eg:说实话,他的演唱并不怎么吸引我。
