内容简介
小说描写了小乡绅班纳特二女儿伊丽莎白。她认识了达西,一直对他心生排斥,经历一番周折,伊丽莎白解除了对达西的偏见,有情人终成眷属。
在舞会上,达西先生的一句:
She is tolerable. But not handsome enough to tempt me.
使得伊莉莎白觉得达西先生 is teroble。
偏见的产生
01
傲慢与偏见的开始
偏见的产生
02
偏见的加深
威克姆暗地里向伊莉莎白说了关于达西先生的莫须有的谣言,“A thorough, determined dislike of me—a dislike which Icannot but attribute in some measure to jealousy.诽谤达西先生,使得伊莉莎白对达西先生得厌恶又更深一层。
宾利先生突然离开了简,伊莉莎白认为是达西先生造成的,又更是讨厌达西先生了。
两人在科林斯庄园相遇,达西先生决定向伊莉莎白告白.求婚。然而…达西先生告白的态度,依旧不改他的傲慢,伊莉莎白生气的向达西先生说:“you were the last man in the world whom I could ever be prevailed on to marry."
There are five marriages in the movie.
The marriage between Darcy and Elizabeth reveals(揭露) the characteristics(特点) which constitutes(构成) a successful marriage. One of these characteristics is that the feeling cannot be brought on by appearances, and must gradually develop between the two people as they get to know one another.
There are five marriages in the movie.
However, unlike Darcy and Elizabeth, there is a flaw(缺陷) in Bingly and Jane’s relationship. The flaw is that both characters(性格) are too gullible(轻信) and too good-hearted to ever act strongly against external(外部的) forces that may attempt to separate them:
Obviously, Lydia and Wickham‘s marriage is an example of an bad marriage. Their marriage was based on appearances(外表), good looks, and youthful vivacity(年轻活泼). Once these qualities(特质) can no longer be seen by each other, the once strong relationship will slowly fade away(消失).
There are five marriages in the movie.
Although little is told of how Mr. Bennet and Mrs. Bennet got together, it can be inferred(推断) by their conversions(转换) that their relationship was similar to that of Lydia and Wickham. He is Jane Austen‘s example of a weak father. Austen shows that it is necessary to use good judgement(判断力) to select a spouse(配偶), otherwise the two people will lose respect for each other.
There are five marriages in the movie.
The last example of a marriage is a of a different nature than the ones mentioned above. The marriage between Mr. Collins and Charlotte is based on economics(经济) rather than on love or appearance. It was a common practice during Austen‘s time for women to marry a husband to save herself from spinsterhood(单身)or to gain financial security.
