新高考的应用文要求考生在提纲的指导下,以各种文体为载体,使用应用文的诸要素如“who,when,where,what,why,how”等描述一件事情。其中邮件类书信体是考查应用文最常用的形式之一。从内容上看,近几年高考书信写作主要包括致歉信、致谢信、笔友信、慰问信、投诉信、邀请函、介绍信、自荐信、求职信等。便条是一种简单的书信,内容简短,大多是临时性的留言、要求等。如果是有急事需告诉别人而又不能面谈,就可以写便条,如请假条、留言条等。便条一般不写地址,与普通书信基本相同,具有用途广泛、形式简单、文字要求不严格等特点。便条不用邮寄。

写作书信、电子邮件、便条时应注意以下几点:
(1) 细读提示,认真审题
①审体裁;
②定人称;
③定时态;
④列要点。要点是应用文写作的最重要的内容。审题时一定要看清提纲要求的要点。有时,要点不仅仅是用数字标出来的内容,题目背景陈述的内容也是“暗含”的要点,注意不要遗漏。

(2)紧扣主题,组织要点
这类写作题中的要点内容在题目中已作出明确要求,只需考生将内容要点逐个完整地表达出来,分清主次和先后顺序,不可遗漏。

(3)合理分段,条理清晰
通常可分为三段来写:
第一段点明主旨。除常规的问候之外,不妨直接用与“I am writing to tell you...”类似的句子开头,直截了当,言简意赅。
第二段详细表述题中所提示的具体内容。为提高文章的连贯性和条理性,应注意运用一些表示逻辑顺序的词汇,如first,second,what’s more,finally等将内容巧妙地连接起来,从而形成有机的整体。
最后一段应该客气地询问对方的意见,同时表达真诚的祝福和热情的问候。

书信、电子邮件、便条的格式一般可分为5个部分:
　　1.信头。信头即写信人的地址和写信的日期,要写在信纸的右上角。
2.称呼。称呼指对收信人的称呼,写在左上角,顶格写。称呼后面的标点一般用逗号。
3.正文。正文是信件的主体部分。写在称呼的下一行,正文的每一段开头一般可顶格写,也可按汉语书信格式写。
4.结束语。结束语通常是指正文下面的结尾客套语。位置应低于正文一、二行。常用Yours sincerely,Yours等。
5.署名。署名写在结束语的下方。
考卷中一般给出开头和结尾,仅需要考生按试题要求完成正文内容便可。
