Mary asked me,“ Have you eaten lunch ” Mary asked me if/whether I had eaten lunch.
Jack asked Tim,“Where is your father from ” Jack asked Tim where his father was from.
Teacher said to him,“Don’t talk to your deskmate.” Teacher told him not to talk to his deskmate.

一、时态变化
1.当主句谓语是现在时或一般将来时时，变为间接引语时态无需变化。
2.当主句谓语是过去时时，变为间接引语时态要按以下时态变化。
3.当直接引语是客观真理时，变为间接引语时态不变，通常还是用一般现在时。
一般现在变一般过去， 现在进行变过去进行，
现在完成变过去完成，一般将来变过去将来，
一般过去变过去完成，过去完成时不变
He says“ I will go to Shanghai tomorrow.”
He says that he will go to Shanghai the next day.
Tim said,“I will go to London with my father.”
Tim said that he would go to London with his father.
My physics teacher said,“Light travels faster than the sound.”
My physics teacher said that light travels faster than the sound.
当直接引语是一般过去时且有年月日等具体时间时，变间接引语时态不变。
Tim said,“Jane was born in 2008.”
Tim said that Jane was born in 2008.

1.He said“ She is really busy these days.”
1.当直接引语是陈述句时，变间接引语用 引导，且可以省略；
He said (that) she was really busy those days.
2.Kate asked“ Can you speak English ”
2.当直接引语是一般疑问句时，变间接引语用 引导；
Kate asked if/ whether I could speak English.
3.Mike asked his brother“Where have you been these days.”
3.当直接引语是特殊疑问句时，变间接引语用 引导 。
