运用“无灵”主语句,能突出人物的心理情感,使续写语言更加生动形象、栩栩如生
■续写句式1(a burst/wave/surge/rush/ripple/sense/feeling of+)表情感状态的名词十有灵动词十sb.
表“某人感到…”或 “一阵/一种……向某入袭来”
用于该句式的有灵动词(短语)有:
seize/take hold of “抓住;攫住”;get the better of/defeat“击垮”;sweep/flood/rush over“袭来”;creep upon “慢慢产生” ;come over “影响” ; run through/pass through “掠过” ; swallow“吞噬;淹没”;choke “使哽咽” ; tear...into pieces “把……撕碎” ;fail“使失望;有负于”等。

■续写句式2主语是表示身体部位/音容笑貌的名词十有灵动词
这类名词有:face,eye,heart,hand,finger,laughter,smile, tears, voice 等;
动词有:brighten/light up “照亮” ;well up“涌出” ;spread/flash across“浮现”;fill..with...“用……装满”;cloud over“显得阴沉(恐惧、愤怒、忧愁等)”等。
①My fingers shook with anger, so that I could not go on sewing.

除表情感的其他名词、如行为、动作、自然现象或时间、地点的名词,也可用在该句式中。
■续写句式3表行为或动作的名词十有灵动词
常见的表示行为或动作的名词有:sight,thought,sense,idea,visit,arrival等。谓语:send, remind, make, leave,drive(驱使)等有灵动词。
The thought of going back to Thornfield for an evening with Mrs. Fairfax bored me.
一想到要和费尔法斯太太一起回桑菲尔德过夜,我就厌烦了。(典范英语10《简·爱》)
■续写句式4表自然现象等的名词+有灵动词
这类名词有:fog,snow, night, earthquake 等。谓语是:fall,blanket(覆盖),envelop(笼罩),come,strike,hit, threaten
等有灵动词。
A storm was gathering, but we stayed there until thunder and lightning crashed.

■续写句式5表时间和地点的名词+有灵动词
这类名词有地点名词,如 the town;时间名词,如the following year。谓语是:witness(见证),find,see等有灵动词。
