上下文时间逻辑的连贯性;
人物情感的合理性;
Jim was a doctor. One day he was making his normal hospital rounds (巡视). He entered a patient’s room. The patient was called Tom. He was drinking water. But Jim found that Tom had drunk five bottles of water earlier that day. Jim was a little bit worried.

“Don’t worry. I don’t have any pain. I am just always thirsty!” said Tom.

A. dreams B. hobbies C. stories D. jokes
4 .The smokers ______ a lot. In fact, the non-smokers who must breathe the air polluted by tobacco smoke may suffer more than the smokers themselves.

1. A. nothing B. anything C. everything D. something
2. A. surprising B. boring C. sad D. funny
1. “Daddy, can I learn to play the violin ” young Sarah asked her father. “You cost me a lot of money, Sarah,” he said. “You wanted to learn horse riding then dancing, then swimming. Now it's the_____. ”

"Good afternoon, Emily. Take a seat, please." Mrs. Blair replied.
A. asked B. sat C. stood D. danced
这三段中出现了一些相互关联的信息:sitting on a sofa、in front of the lady、take a seat。
Then, ___2___ filled the space between them. Emily wondered what to say.
A. warmth B. sadness C. happiness D. silence
