It's said that about 4% of people sleepwalk(梦游) at night during their lives. That is, you or some of your families and friends have done so. Sleepwalking happens while one is sleeping. Sleepwalkers walk slowly around the house, say something and then go back to sleep. Their eyes are usually open and look right at you as if they were awake. The next day, they remember nothing when they are asked about what happened the night before.
Sleepwalking is a common problem for many children from 4 to 12 years old. It could run in family. If one of the parents is a sleepwalker, their children may be, too. Scientists still don't know why people sleepwalk, but they find common facts that may lead to sleepwalking. For example, if one is under stress, gets sick or doesn't have enough sleep, he or she will have more chances to sleepwalk.
