冠词是高考语法填空的常考点，集中于不定冠词a、an和定冠词the的基本用法和固定搭配。 解答此类题目时，空后有名词且两者搭配在一起表示泛指含义时，要考虑不定冠词a/an；表示特指或有序数词、最高级、特指意义的比较级等形式时，要考虑定冠词the；空处前后的词与冠词构成的固定搭配要牢记。 第一步：明确冠词的位置 空格后面是名词或“形容词＋名词”，在句中作主语或宾语，且没有其他限定词时，一般需要用冠词。 第二步：辨析特指和泛指 文中第一次提到某人或某物时，一般为泛指，用不定冠词：第二次提到时是特指，用定冠词；当名词前有定语修饰时，多数情况用定冠词表特指；序数词或最高级前要用定冠词。 第三步：注意a与an的选用 看空格后单词的首字母的发音，而不是首字母。辅音音素开头用a，元音音素开头用an。
